The 40 Most Popular Summer Recipes
Hey all! I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! Since so many of us were vacationing and soaking up the long weekend, we decided to take a few days off from posting. But I’ve been doing a little work in mix and I’m back today and excited to share this year’s big summer recipe round-up post.
I like to look at this post like the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that happens every summer in July (it’s going on right now and there are so many good deals!). This post is full of so many hidden gems. Simple recipes highlighting summer produce including dinner ideas to get you through to September.
I hope it’s something you’ve all started to look forward to! I know the 4th is behind us, but we still have the rest of the summer ahead. Pools days with friends, picnics, backyard dinner parties, summer birthdays, and warm nights spent outside eating ice cream. These recipes are perfect for it all!
Oh, and for any of you interested in seeing our previous summer recipe posts, here they are! summer 2019, summer 2020, and summer 2021.

HOLY MOTHER O’ GOD! I scrolled down, copied about 10 recipes, and by the desserts was saying “Enough! Uncle!!”. Yes – and I don’t even usually make or eat desserts. Tieghan, you recipes ARE the best, and your photos are perfect. Most blogs are missing something – either the spelling is incorrect or the wording is weird, the photos are washed out, blurry, or dark, or the recipes are just BLAH. Your site is one of my very favorites, you are very inventive and special! Keep up the great work.
Hey Mich!
LOL thank you so much for your kind message and following along:) Let me know which recipes you try, I hope you love them! Have the best week! xx
Your recipes are absolutely delicious! You are a master with flavors and colors!! Would you mind sharing which tortillas you use for say the bacon pesto chicken salad wraps and other recipes too! They always look so thin, soft and fresh! Many thanks!!

The Shrimp Scampi Linguine has been a fixture in our weeknight dinners for the last year or so – it is so simple but so delicious. The Roasted Tomato, Basil and Feta Orzo is another favourite – absolutely beautiful flavours. These two recipes just taste like summer to me!
Also, the Garlic Butter Creamed Corn Chicken always appears on these ‘most popular’ lists…and for good reason! If you haven’t made it yet, do it!
Hey Lou,
Thanks so much for your kind message and giving so many recipes a try, I love to hear that you have been enjoying them! The creamed corn chicken is a family fave for sure!! xTieghan
I made your Honey Whipped Goat Cheese with Marinated Olives for my hosts’ 4th of July party last night. Several other guests commented on the delicious and beautiful appetizer. It was challenging to make in someone else’s kitchen (can’t find a food processor, hmm, well here’s a huge stand mixer, that will have to do!) yet it got me back into “destination cooking” rather than my humdrum “survival cooking”. Thank you for catching my eye with artful presentation backed by solid taste profiles.
Hey Marjorie,
Happy Wednesday! Thanks for sharing your review and making the whipped goat cheese with olives, I am so glad it was a winner! xxTieghan
I’ve made your Charred Baby Bell Peppers with Burrata quite often, and it has been a hit every time!! The dressing is delicious and the men love to sop it up with the bread. There are never leftovers!! And it’s so easy!!
Hey Kelly,
Thank you so much for making that recipe so often, I love to hear that you have been enjoying it!! xx
