Spiced Honey Bourbon Old Fashioned |

It’s the very last Saturday of October and that means two things. Halloween is tomorrow (so excited!) and then, it’s officially Thanksgiving time! I’ve said this many times before, but I love Thanksgiving.

For me, it’s such a fun family holiday and I love that food and drinks play such a HUGE role in Thanksgiving. The food is great, of course, but personally, I have a lot of fun with the Thanksgiving cocktails as well. Well, really all holiday cocktails.

Thanksgiving is great because the drinks can be pitcher style, warming, or after-dinner drinks (like my espresso martini). They’re just fun, and I love to play them up as much as possible! Something about the holidays makes drinks even more “merry”. I love entertaining with my family while mixing up cocktails in the kitchen. Being behind the kitchen counter is my “safety blanket”, it keeps me moving and talking away. Plus, I just have a lot of fun making them!

The last two years in a row I’ve shared this round-up style post for Thanksgiving drinks and it’s been so popular. So I’m bringing it back again this year and sharing the top drinks for 2021.

It’s a VERY good list.

I hope you enjoy this round-up of oldies, but goodies. Some of my favorite HBH Thanksgiving cocktails are listed below. And with that, let me know YOUR personal favorites.

Lastly, I have so many cocktails planned, but I love hearing your ideas! Let me know what drinks you guys would love to see this month…and for December too! I’m already so excited!!

Have a great Halloween! See you tomorrow for another Sunday Favorites!

  1. I took a good look at all your recipes, which are all fabulous … Congratulations
Could you give me a rum cocktail, because here, it’s their first choice, and not too sweet for men? Thank you
I found in your ideas, for women who do not drink alcohol or milder for those who consume alcohol, so thank you, thanks to your choice I have something to please everyone, Biz

  2. Can’t wait to try some of these! I made the Creamy Coconut White Russian tonight and it was great!! We host an annual “Toast the Season” cocktail party first Saturday in December and am interested in pitcher style drinks. I usually have a bourbon and vodka based drink to choose from. I like being able to chat and catch up with guests and not be bartender all night long.

  3. I love all the festive garnishes! For folks interested in non alcoholic versions of any cocktail you can usually substitute fizzy water, sparkling cider, ginger beer or any number of non alcoholic alternatives. I don’t drink alcohol but like the ritual of a festive mixed cocktail on occasion. I recently discovered Monday zero alcohol gin and whiskey. There are lots of companies out there offering zero alcohol spirits. I’ve only tried Monday and can attest to their flavor! I’ve made a number of HBH cocktails using both the gin and the whiskey and they were very popular!

    1. Hey! Thanks so much for trying out this recipe, I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Happy Halloween 🙂 xTieghan
