Today I am sharing our 2021 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Dinner Menu. This year’s holiday menu focuses on the traditional recipes my family loves most, but includes a few new ones too. Our dinners are complete with cocktails, appetizers, sides, mains, and, of course, sweet desserts too. Bonus? I decided to share what we’ll be having for breakfast too…there’s certainly never too much food at Christmastime!

Dinner

I always do beef tenderloin as our main, but I also include a nice vegetarian option as well! This year, we’re actually doing ribeyes from Five Mary’s, but I’m simply searing them in skillet with a little butter, garlic, and shallots. Super, super simple. So I’m also sharing my go-to tenderloin!

  1. Happy New Year Tieghan!
I made the ham and cheese croissant bake for New Years morning! It was delicious and easy to assemble partially in advance the day before. It was a toss up between the eggnog and gingerbread cinnamon rolls, but my love for gingerbread this time of year swayed me to make those for Christmas morning! I love your recipes and always look forward to seeing what you’re making!

    1. Hi Lori,
Thanks so much for reading and making so many recipes this holiday season. I love to hear that they were enjoyed! Happy New Year! xTieghan

  2. I made your Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Mushrooms and White Wine Cream Sauce for Christmas dinner tonight. Absolutely delicious!!! Thank you for sharing your yummy recipes. I look forward to trying more this week. Merry Christmas!

  3. I really like how your Christmas menu includes a lot of the same ingredients. That makes things so much easier. ❤

  4. Your meals have been one of the best things of 2021!!! Thank you ?? I live the white scallop plates. Where are they from! Wishing you the merriest Christmas.

  5. So far this week, I have made your popovers with the rosemary, your apple cinnamon rolls and your chicken and wild rice soup. We are doing a menu similar to yours in reverse. The tacos on Christmas eve and the beef tenderloin with lobster on Christmas day. Have really enjoyed making your recipes. Have one of your cookbooks and asked Santa for another one. Thank you and Merry Christmas?

    1. Hi Mary,
Wow! That is truly amazing! Thank you for trying so many recipes and being here, I appreciate your support! Have a very Merry Christmas! xTieghan

  6. Your crème brûlée baked French toast is currently soaking in my fridge. My daughter has informed me that I will not get in the door on Christmas morning without your eggnog cinnamon rolls (although I will be trying out the iced mocha rolls for my husband and myself for New Year’s morning). We have made many of your Mexican-inspired dishes as well. THANK YOU for such wonderful, delicious, homey content! It’s truly been a salve for these past couple of years. MERRY CHRISTMAS, GERARDS! #GoRedBeijing22

    1. Hi Jen,

  7. My goodness that is a lot of different food to prepare. How do you get it all fixed and it begot at the same time? I admire you for being willing to cook so much. It makes me tired just to think of it. HA!! You are young though…

    1. Hi Charlotte,
It does require a lot of time in the kitchen, there are some items that can be prepped ahead, you just do what works for you:) xTieghan

  8. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!! Wouldn’t be Christmas without the Santa Claus cookies. The cutest. Also tried the Christmas monster cookies. Wow!!!! Seriously addicting.xo

  9. I did my first Christmas cookie box this year and included SO MANY half baked harvest cookies 🙂 Christmas monster, brown sugar peanut butter, crinkly caramel stuffed brownie, and the vanilla bean Christmas cookies! All such a huge hit with my friends and family! Love your recipes and cooking inspo ☺️

    1. Hi Megan,

  10. They all look amazing! The baked Brie was outstanding. I can’t wait to try more.
Thank you for everything you do.
    Merry Christmas.
    Kellie

  11. I’m doing a HBH Christmas menu! I’m worried about the tenderloin… never done one before. My tenderloin is thick on one end and gets skinnier. Is that how yours started? I feel like I see twine in ur photo, can you explain that a bit to me?
Also, do you cover it in the oven?
Thank you so much for taking time to answer!!!

    1. Hey Johna!! I would recommend tying the tenderloin to help with even cooking. If you have a butcher, have them do it! Linking a great video below 🙂

No need to cover it in the oven. Merry Christmas!!

  12. We are having a very Half-Baked Harvest Christmas dinner this year! For Christmas breakfast I’m trying out the ham and cheese croissant bake. Dinner will be roasted beef tenderloin with french onion au jus, the squash, fig and feta salad, creamed spaghetti squash, and brown sugar maple cookie pie. Thanks for elevating our cooking this year, Tieghan!

    1. Hey Kuleigh,
Wow! That is so great to hear, I hope your family loves all of the recipes. Have a very Merry Christmas! xTieghan
