It’s that time of year. 25 Of my Favorite Fall Recipes | halfbakedharvest.com @hbharvest We are one week + two days (yes, I am so counting!) away from fall, but here in Colorado (or at least in my little CO town) fall is in full force. The leaves are turning, the sky is blue and the air is crisp. It has been freezing over night for at least a week (meaning frost on the ground every morning). Denver actually had snow last Friday and our mountains have been covered with the white stuff on multiple mornings. Yup, fall is here…even if the calendar says we still have a week. I am really trying my hardest to hold out on the heavy fall recipes, but you should know, I have been eating pumpkin, apples and squash galore for the past week. I can’t help it. I love fall food! At about this time every year, I really start thinking about all my favorite fall recipes. There is SO much to love and I wanted to make this list a million miles long, but I feel like the long list of fifty or even one hundred plus recipes can get really, really overwhelming. So, it was hard, but I picked out my favorites from last fall and I’m ready to bring them back into rotation. I totally get it if you are not quite ready for all the fall eats just yet. If that is the case, just look at this as good preparation for when you are. Nothing wrong with being prepared!

  1. Your website and recipes are beautiful!! I just discovered your site this weekend and have spent hours browsing. Can’t wait to try some of your recipes over the next 2 weeks!

  2. What a great list of fall recipes! I’m particularly intrigued by the Cranberry, Brussels Sprout and Brie Skillet Nachos and the Roasted Harvest Veggie, Curried Avocado & Coconut Rice, but all of the them sound delicious! I’m definitely bookmarking this page 🙂

  3. Now I see why I could never be a serious cook book author. The thought of pouring maple syrup on a wooden counter, stacking multiple bowls for cereal and then spilling the milk and overrunning people’s mugs of hot chocolate make me shudder.

  4. everything looks yummy but I don’t love the haphazard, sloppy (yet perfect) food styling. simple photos would be less pretentious…

  5. Oh My Stars, T! I cannot believe there is this much delicious, all in one post! That triple chocolate layer cake (minus the burbon) & those apples- Really EVERY.SINGLE.ONE! 🙂
    Thanks for sharing-

  6. It was 48 this morning in Kentucky but this is just a taste of fall.
It will get back in the 80’s later this week.
So many recipes so little time–LOL.
    Have a great Sunday.

  7. It is still in the 80s here and I dread the cold weather. I have been wondering why bloggers have been doing pumpkin recipes now. I always thought apple recipes were first. Apples are in at the orchards around here. The apple skillet cookie sure looks yummy
