Sundays in January are some of my favorites.

A Week of (Healthy) Cozy Winter Recipes | halfbakedharvest.com @hbharvest

It’s bitter cold outside, snow is typically falling, and cozying up is perfectly acceptable. So go ahead, snuggle up in blankets, read a book, watch a movie, or plan for the week ahead. It’s chill vibes all around and I love it.

I’m really into planning this month. I’ve been thinking a lot about the blog and some fun ways to freshen it up a bit. For the last week I’ve been wracking my brain for new ideas for Sunday posts. Most of the time I have a recipe to share, but I’m wondering if you guys might like to see other things from me. For example, would you be interest in more of a lifestyle type post? Do you love when I share my favorite links from around the web? Or are you into these round-up style posts, like the one I’m sharing below? I would love to hear yours thoughts on what you guys might enjoy seeing on Sundays.

I’m currently in the very last stretch of finishing up the cookbook photos…meaning I can see the light at the end of tunnel, yeah! So, in an attempt to keep things short today I’m sharing seven of my favorite, cozy, but healthy, winter dinner recipes. These are my goto’s and I love each and every one. I also included a few bonus recipes at the end, so be sure to check those out as well.

Hope you guys have a great Sunday!

  1. Honestly, maybe just take a break on Sunday and take some unplugged time for yourself! You definitely don’t owe your readers a post every day 🙂

  2. I also love the idea of round ups….as well as the lifestyle post idea….links to websites….hmm….you’ve made it hard to choose! There are some fantastic ideas so maybe my vote will be for the lifestyle posts for Sundays.

I have to tell you that I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ your photos…the background surfaces, the pieces you use and most importantly the vibrant colours of the food makes all your recipes so appealing – it’s true that we ‘eat’ with our eyes first! Thank you for all your efforts!

  3. Love the round ups, but I like your suggestion of something completely different for Sunday like a lifestyle post. Or maybe a feature of a certain gadget in your kitchen, a profile of one particular ingredient and the different ways it can be used (say lemon or basil or coconut milk), or a how-to post. Would be awesome to see a photography post from you, considering your photos are so beautiful, to see your set-up, the equipment you use etc. Just some ideas off the top of my head. I love everything you do as it is. ?

  4. This is such a great cozy post 🙂 I love the recipe round ups because sometimes I forget all the amazing things on the blog! I wouldn’t mind seeing some “Favorite Links” posts too, because I’m always curious to know what my favorite bloggers are into, besides food. Another possible idea (and this could be a one-time post) would be to delve into how you get inspiration for your recipes. They are so creative! Are there any magazines that you read, other bloggers that inspire you, books, places you’ve visited?? Just some ideas 🙂 I can’t wait to see what’s in store for HBH and YAY!! for almost being done with the photos for the cookbook. Now you might be able to use your Sundays for (even more) relaxation 😉

  5. The latest recipes look good, will try some. Really into organizing paper work and clearing out clutter. Have found myself looking at a lot of Hacks lately, wanting to improve our living space and reuse items for other purposes.
Pretty open to anything you would like to share.

  6. I like the idea of the weekly round up. Truth be told, I don’t always have time to really check a daily recipe out, so the round up reminds of those I am interested in but didn’t have time for. Thanks for sharing all that you do.

  7. It would be quite interesting and fun if you re-made and shot some of you first recipes! 🙂 Writing what you would’ve made differently. Maybe you even make some improvement to the recipe.

  8. Links to some of your fav your fav finds on the web would be great. You’re so creative. I’d like to see some of what inspires you

  9. I like your idea of a quick meal on Monday or a quick meal any night.
I do like when you share new food products like Delallo.
