I always look forward to this post at the beginning of every holiday season. To me, this is the official start of the holiday craze. Halloween is Monday and Thanksgiving time is upon us. If you’re hosting this year, you’ve most likely started to plan. If you’re lucky enough to be a guest, you’re probably brainstorming what side dish or dessert to bring. Or maybe you’re plotting the perfect hostess gift.
The excitement is in the air! This is certainly my favorite time! While I’m looking forward to Christmas, Thanksgiving is not to be overlooked!
Thanksgiving drinks are indeed some of my favorites. They feel so special and elegant. I really have fun creating a simple twist on many of the old classics we love.
Over the past handful of years, I’ve shared out countless drink recipes, and so many wonderful ones for Thanksgiving. This year’s drinks are different than all the years past because I’ve decided to also include how to turn each recipe into a non-alcoholic drink as well. This has been a huge hit, which makes me so happy! I know many of you are opting out of hard liquor, so I want to be sure everyone can enjoy these fun holiday drinks!
I hope you all enjoy this round-up of past drink recipes. Some of my favorite Thanksgiving cocktails are listed below. Last year’s highlights for me personally were the Spiced Maple Bourbon Fizz and the Chai Espresso Martini. I really LOVE them both, but especially the martini.
Additionally, please let me know what drinks you guys would love to see this month. If there are any requests, please share them below!
Have a great Halloween! See you tomorrow for another Sunday Favorites!

Located in Australia & it’s very hard to find most Thanksgiving ingredients – can you leave out the apple butter?
Hi Rebecca,
For which recipe are you wanting to leave the apple butter out of? Let me know how I can help! xT
I just tried this tonight and… YUMMM! I totally forgot to add the coconut milk though, but they were still amazing.
I love the syrup by itself as well and plan on making it as a spread to go with cheese and crackers.
Hey Stephanie,
Happy Thanksgiving!!🦃🍁 I am so glad to hear that this recipe turned out well for you, thanks so much for making it! xT
Thanks for sharing. I look forward to trying them out.
Happy to share Pamela!!

Thanks so much Michele!! Happy Thanksgiving!! xx
Must ALL the drinks have hard liquor in them? I have 14, 13, and 11 year old grandchildren; I would appreciate recipes which I could serve to them.
Hi Barbara,
If you click on the recipes, you’ll see I’ve created cocktail versions as well:) Also, I make these for my sister all the time with just omitting the alcohol and adding some sparkling water. Happy Tuesday! xx
I’m really enjoying your drink recipes – I adapt flavors into home made fudge, and am always looking for inspiration! I often find that a basic dessert recipe that features one of the main ingredients (peach, for instance) is given a unique boost when I add an element or two from a cocktail recipe with the same base fruit or flavor.
Thanks for stepping “outside the box” on many of these!
Hey Kelly,
Thanks so much for your kind message and trying so many recipes, we appreciate you following along!! Cheers! xx
Tieghan,
Would love to make a very special drink for Thanksgiving for my children (12, and twins 1o). With everything going on in the world right now, they have stayed positive and been just amazing. Any suggestions for something non alcoholic but more than just a simple punch?
I already have a few dessert recipes from your site to make them!
Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face and belly when I make your recipes!
