Happy Saturday Guys!!
Watch the How-To Video Here:
Are you ready for the return of Christmas Drink Saturday?!?! After many of you kindly took the time to comment and email me, asking for the return of the holiday drinks, I decided that Christmas Drink Saturday clearly needed to be brought back! This year I’m starting a week early, for two reasons.
Reason one: Thanksgiving is this Thursday and I think it just feels fitting to have a holiday drink for this big holiday too!
Reason two: When I sat down last weekend to plot out my holiday drinks, I was three over my limit. Yes, THREE. So I decided to throw in an extra drink that’s perfect for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Cool, cool! 🙂
To kick things off, I’m starting with one of my favorite drinks of the bunch. This Paloma is all things Holiday…and it’s perfection…fizzy, minty, gingery, full of sweet pomegranate, and um tequila too! Perfect drink to mix up for any holiday party. The simple syrup makes enough for at least four drinks, but can easily be doubled, or tripled, for a large batch of drinks. My special Christmas touch to these drinks though?
GINGER BEER.
It’s not traditional in Palomas, but it’s so much better than using club soda and adds a killer ginger flavor, which to me, just screams the holidays! Of course, if you prefer, you can obviously use club soda or anything with some fizz! Either way, these drinks are going to be delish! Bring on the holiday festivities!

This looks yummy and want to try to make this for a large party of about 10 guests for xmas. Any recommendations how to convert this to a ‘punch’ version?
HI Monica!! Yes, here are the measument for a punch version, just add the ginger beer for topping each glass. Let me know if you have questions. Thank you!

Hi! They look absolutely beautiful – as always
But I quite dislike grapefruit, and no matter how little I add I feel like it comes through really strong.
Do you have any ideas for a substitute?
Thank you in advance 🙂
Hi! You can just use and equal amount of more pomegranate juice or even omit it and add a splash more of lime juice. Let me know if you have other questions. Hope that helps. Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Hi Tieghan!
Just wanted to say I’ve tried it out without grapefruit juice (I instead doubled the amount of limejuice), and it worked quite splendidly. A lovely drink, and I’m looking forward to serving it to my guests this coming Wednesday. I’ll wager they won’t be disappointed 😉
Ah yay! I hope they love it!! Thanks so much for making it!
Love this! Can the concoction be made ahead and served in a large pitcher? Thanks!
YES! That works great. I actually did it today! Just add the sparking water or ginger to each glass so it does not go flat. Happy Thanksgiving!
That’s an inltleigent answer to a difficult question xxx
Love This outfit! How do you get your hair styled like that? I love it because it looks so relax and chill, did you already made a post about it? If not I totally think you should do one and teach us how to get that look!
