Welcome to Christmas Drink Saturday…number THREE!
Can’t believe we are already three drinks in. That means only three to go…craziness! Like the last two cocktails (hello Pomegranate Ginger Paloma and The North Pole), today’s drink is another major favorite. This Poinsettia Spritz Punch is totally different from the last two, and well, it involves champagne…yes, yes, YES. It’s called the poinsettia due to its red hue, but it’s really just a fizzy cranberry cocktail with a hit of St. Germain, which is my new obsession, 1) because it feels so fancy and two 2) it’s adds the lightest flora touch that pairs perfectly with the tart cranberries and sweet champagne.
Here’s how this one works. It’s SIMPLE, add everything but the champagne to a pitcher and chill. Then when it’s serving time, just add the champagne and a few fresh cranberries for a festive touch and DONE. Simple as can be and totally delicious. I have a feeling I will be making a lot of these over Christmas. My family loves the pitcher style drinks because the pours just keep coming…YIKES.
Happy first Saturday of December guys! Hope it’s filled with Christmassy things (or whatever holiday you’re celebrating this December), maybe some snow and most definitely some baking. My suggestions would be in the form of this Gingerbread Cake or these 3-Ingredient Nutella Pop Tarts. Then top your day of baking off with some Poinsettia Spritz Punch!!
December weekend perfection!
