{Today I’ve partnered with Crate and Barrel to bring you this seriously delish (buttery and cheesy) pasta!}
Passing out all the bowls of pasta…
One for you, and you, and you… and two for me please. 🙂
Never enough pasta, you know?? Especially pasta of the homemade variety. Yes… we are making fresh-cut pasta today!! I know, know, so fun and SO good. And then we are tossing it with a creamy tomato sauce and BUTTERY poached lobster + shrimp. Too freaking good!
Have you guys seen all the Valentine’s Day stuff out this year? I feel like it’s EVERYWHERE. Even though I am single, I still love the idea of Valentine’s Day. Maybe I dream of a Valentine’s Day where I’m actually able to celebrate it with someONE… and not just a box of chocolates… although the chocolate is very much-loved. Anyway, I have a thing for Valentine’s Day. For me it’s an excuse to make pasta, eat chocolate and buy fresh roses. Obviously I’m all over that!
So I’ve teamed up with Crate and Barrel to bring you guys this special seafood pasta recipe. It’s kind of my favorite for many reasons.
Reason ONE: fresh-cut, homemade pasta. Homemade pasta adds so much to a pasta dish! DON’T be scared of making your own. It’s definitely not something you do everyday, but for a special night-in, like Valentine’s Day, it’s so fun… and trust me, so delicious. Nothing beats homemade pasta.
Reason TWO: BUTTER poached lobster + shrimp. I mean, really, doesn’t that just sound amazing? Lobster and butter go hand-in-hand. Personally, I cannot do lobster without a little butter, so poaching lobster tails in butter was the right move for me. I’m pretty sure it will be the right move for you too!
Reason THREE: Creamy, cheesy tomato sauce. Enough said.
So you see? This creamy tomato, lobster and shrimp fettuccine is kind of everything you need. Not only for Valentine’s Day, this sumptuous dish will get you though the winter. What? Hey, these mid/late winter months are BRUTAL. Oh, and don’t forget to pair this dish with a nice bottle of wine. Duh.
