This year, I have some yummy dishes coming your way, but wings are an absolute must. Usually, I serve up traditional buffalo wings, but after making these garlic parmesan wings, Iโm now serving both.
These are so delicious and a great option for anyone who doesnโt love the spiciness of buffalo wings!

Here are the details
Step 1: the chicken
Start with the chicken. Cubed raw chicken, breasts, or thighs, or use a mix of the two as I do. Toss the cubed chicken with a mix of seasonings: smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add flour and parmesan, then toss again.
The flour allows the chicken to get crispy in the oven. I love that crispy texture. Itโs a small amount, so just a very light coating, but itโs perfect. Not fully bready chicken wings, but breaded enough so that the sauce really sticks nicely to the chicken.
Bake the chicken up in a super hot oven. It takes maybe 20 minutes to cook.

Step 2: the sauce
For the sauce, you need butter, garlic, cream, parmesan, and cayenne. A very simple mix, but delicious.
Simmer this on the stove for a few minutes to bring everything together into a delicious cream sauce. Nothing fancy to it!

Step 3: coat the chicken in sauce
Pour the sauce over the baked, crispy chicken as soon as it comes out of the oven. The heat helps the sauce really adhere to the chicken.
The coating soaks up all the sauce. Itโs going to leave you saying, YUM!
I always finish with extra parmesan cheese, parsley, and black pepper.
For serving, these are so yummy with home-baked french fries and extra parmesan sauce. Or serve over rice with a side of broccoli and make these wings into a dinner!
Perfect for everyone in the family!

Soo good! In the video it looks like you coat them with something first before the flour? Almond flour?
Hey Jen,
Yes, that is all of the seasonings listed in step 2 and then the flour.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
These were full of flavor and very easy to make.
Hey Dee,
Happy Friday! Love to hear you enjoyed this recipe, I appreciate you making it!
Great recipe! Parmesan cream sauce was delicious!
Hey Michaele,
Your feedback means a lot, thanks for trying this recipe. I’m happy it delivered!
Shoot, the chicken was a bit bland and mushy. Did I put too much sauce on? Or not bake long enough?
Any recipe that I try from you is always a winner, but this one fell short, Iโm wondering if it was user error. ๐
Hi Jennifer,
Thanks so much for making this recipe! Any chance your baking sheet was too crowded? That tends to steam the chicken.
Can you bake this in an air fryer?
Hey Monica,
Totally, that would work nicely for you! I hope you love this recipe!
