With the New Year almost here, we are sharing the 25 Most Popular Recipes of 2021. This has been a year of A LOT of new recipes, a lot of cooking, so much baking, and plenty of cocktail mixing…more than ever before! Below are the top 25 most popular recipes. Can you guess the most popular HBH recipe of the year? What’s your favorite?
This post is one of my favorite posts of the year!! I share this “Popular Recipes” post every year at about this time. Surprisingly, it’s always one of my more popular posts. I never think you’ll really enjoy any type of round-up style post because there’s no new recipe. But you guys have shown me otherwise. I guess it’s nice to have everyone’s favorite recipes all in one place for easy reference!
Personally, I love this post because it’s so fun to see all the major recipes hits. Many of which I would never have guessed would be so popular. Sometimes I share out recipes and think they’ll fall totally flat, but then you end up loving them! So this most popular recipes of the year post is always fun for me to see what makes the cut!
Before I dive into the recipes, I really just want to say a huge thank you to you all. It’s been so much fun seeing what everyone has been cooking and baking, especially this holiday season. I said this at Thanksgiving, but we’ve never seen so many HBH recipes being made…even more so this year than last! There’s been a whole lot of cocktail mixing, cinnamon roll baking, pasta tossing, and so much cookie baking. It’s incredible, and I’m extra thankful for you guys and your constant support and kindness. We love our little HBH family.
I hope you guys are having an amazing holiday break!!

#9 is #1 in our house! I make all the one skillet orzo recipes all the time. So easy and delicious, even my toddler devours it!!
Awe thanks so much Megan, love to hear this! xTieghan
I made so many of these, but the absolute fave was the chipotle chicken tacos with lime ranch. I’m telling you, they barely hit the table before they were completely devoured! They are so flavorful and the crunch is perfection, not to mention the zippiness of the ranch. We are counting down the days until your new cookbook! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Hi Jen,
Thank you so much for making these recipes! I hope you love the new book and everything you make! xTieghan

This rave review is long overdue…we love Half-Baked Harvest. My son asked if everything I made at Christmas was from your recipes. He got excited when I answered “nearly everything”. I made Brown Butter Iced Mocha Cinnamon Rolls (amazing), Fig and Cider Pork Chops, Crispy Parmesan Thyme Sweet Potato Stacks, and Crunchy Roasted Broccoli with Toasted Bread Crumbs. Some of our favorites this year have been Gyros with Roasted Garlic Tzatziki and Feta Fries and Instant Pot Pesto Zappa Toscana. I love the layers of flavor you add to each recipe. Thank you for offering so many great recipes and for free.

Laughing at the amount of these I have made this year – so many! I think the families favorite was the salted honey butter parker house rolls and the monster cookies. (They went soooo fast during the holidays.) My all time favorite is the sun dried tomato chicken and orzo and all of your amazing wonton dishes. Can’t wait to see what you have in 2022! Happy New Year and thank you for feeding us all year long!

I JUST made the pesto and sun dried tomato tortellini soup yesterday (with chicken like we discussed in the comment section bc I don’t like sausage) and it was DELICIOUS. So creamy, comforting (it was cold and rainy outside) and flavorful. Looking back on the 25 top recipes I can see a lot of dinners that filled my family’s bellies, so thank you for all of your hard work in coming up with such creative and delicious meals for us all. Happy 2022!

Thanks for sharing this list! We’ve made 9 of these and will add the rest to our list! The ramen is our go to in the fall/winter and the kids loved the monster cookies! We also loved the wraps so much we make them with whatever we have on hand! Thanks for all the delicious ideas!
Thank you for the wonderful content you put out! I’ve enjoyed many of your lovely recipes. I adore the Slow Cooker Red Wine Sunday Ragu Pasta, One Skillet French Onion Tater Tot Casserole, and I just made the Families Favorite Pasta Bolognese…of which I froze most of it right before Christmas for a delicious company-worthy dinner during the busy holidays. I’m going to get your fabulous Christmas Stovetop potpourri bubbling away later today to scent out home festively for my girls movie night. 🙂 Enjoy a cozy week with family!
