Autumn Pumpkin Head Punch…spicy, sweet, and delicious, with hints of lemon, spiced pumpkin butter, vodka, cinnamon, and ginger. All mixed together to create an autumn punch that’s great for our upcoming entertaining season. From Halloween, to Friendsgiving, to Thanksgiving…and every other day in between!
You guys, somehow it’s already almost Halloween! And behind the scenes, I’m prepping for Thanksgiving, and even pre-planning Christmas! It’s crazy how fast it all comes, but exciting!
I’ve been dying to share today’s cocktail since the start of October. So I’m very happy the day has finally come to tell you all about this pumpkin filled drink. It’s pretty much the most perfect punch for Halloween or Thanksgiving, and it’s SO GOOD.
And cute – with all of the orange hues!
Just like most punch recipes, you simply add everything to a punch bowl and call it a day. Except, this one has a spiced honey syrup that makes the drink even more special and delicious.
It’s a mix of sweet honey, warming spices, cinnamon, and ginger. All simmered together and then finished off with two extra special touches…pumpkin and a splash of sweet vanilla.
When stirred together with vodka, lemon, and a squeeze of fresh orange juice, it’s sweet, spicy, and delicious.
Simple to mix up, not too spicy, not too sweet…just right.
I used my favorite pumpkin punch bowl, to make things just a touch cuter, but any punch bowl will work!
I’d recommend testing this out this weekend, then make a double batch for Halloween. And then, since the punch will be so well received at Halloween, go for it again on Thanksgiving. You won’t be disappointed!

Sure, that would work for you! I hope you love the recipe! Cheers! xx
Is there a way to make this alcohol free?
Hi there,
Sure, just skip the alcohol and add more sparkling water and cider. Let me know if you give the recipe a try! Cheers! xx
Thank you!
This punch was everything. Tieghan you nailed it and the spiced pumpkin butter is an absolute must! We added dry ice for our Hocus Pocus watch party! Definitely keeping this one.
Hi Holly,
Love to hear that you enjoyed this drink! Thanks for making it:) Happy Monday! xx
Where is your app for Half Baked Harvest??? You must have an app.
Hi Sharon! I’m so sorry I don’t! Just the blog for now 🙂 xTieghan
Could you substitute apple butter for the pumpkin butter?
Yes, that would be delish! xTieghan
Can you make the punch ahead of time? I.e. night before?
Hi there! Yes, you can make it a day ahead! xTieghan
You were right to suggest making a double batch…or a triple batch. It was delicious. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy and it was very much a hit at our Halloween gathering! It has already been requested for Thanksgiving too! Thanks for the amazing recipe!

Love the punch bowl and glasses! Where are those from?
Can you clarify the amount of pumpkin syrup to add to the pitcher? The honey syrup with the addition of pumpkin purée and vanilla is the perfect mixture of warm spices with the perfect amount of sweetness.
Hi there! I usually add most of mine in, but you can add as much or as little as you’d like! xTieghan
Made this punch for a party last night and it was a big hit! But I also know Tieghan will never disappoint. I made Tieghan’s pumpkin butter recipe for this which I also will never regret. Pumpkin butter is so hard to find but so easy to make!
Just an editing note on this recipe: in step 1 it says spiced honey syrup, but in step 2 it calls it pumpkin syrup.
Hey! Thanks so much for trying out this recipe, I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Happy Halloween 🙂 xTieghan
Amazing cocktail. I can’t get enough! I’m going to try with bourbon too, but I think bourbon’s strong taste might overpower the other flavors.
Hey there! Thanks so much for trying out this recipe, I hope you loved it! Happy Tuesday 🙂 xTieghan
Where did you purchase the punch bowl and glasses?
Hi there! They are both from Williams Sononma! 🙂 xTieghan
Would this recipe work well with bourbon?
I haven’t tried this recipe with bourbon but it should work just fine 🙂 xTieghan
This looks amazing! I love all things pumpkin! What would you suggest using in place of vodka to make this alcohol-free?
I would love some suggestions on this too!
Hi Nathalie! Maybe some sprite or 7up! 🙂 xTieghan
Looks great! I’ll have to try. But first, where did you get those pumpkin tumblers? They’re adorable.
Yes I was going to ask the same thing – those pumpkin glasses are adorable!
Hey there! This looks amazing! Just to clarify, lemon juice from concentrate or freshly squeeze the lemon juice?
Hey Jenny,
I like to use freshly squeezed lemon juice. Let me know if you give this recipe a try, I hope you love it! xx
Agree! Love the glasses!
I found them. Williams-Sonoma, “Pumpkin Cups, set of 6”.
