Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for your sweet messages last week and throughout the week—I loved reading them.
Life in Miami still feels a little unsettled right now, but also really exciting and new. It’s been fun shopping for home pieces, but there’s also a lot of adjusting and figuring out new routines. It’s kind of both a beautiful and challenging season all at once.
I’m looking forward to slowly feeling more settled. I’ve been adding pieces to my space little by little to make it feel like home. It’s been a bit tricky knowing this is temporary, but at the same time, I know how much my surroundings impact how I feel and show up each day. So I still want it to feel like home.
I’ll share some of what I’ve been ordering below, and if it all comes together, I’ll have to give you a little glimpse over time!
Aside from the move, work has been busy too. We have a big fall ahead and are deep in planning mode right now. It’s exciting, and I can’t wait to share more with you this summer.
I’ll be back to traveling soon, but I’ve been trying to stay put in Miami for a bit and really get settled before hopping on another plane. It hasn’t been the easiest thing to do—I even had to pass on something I would have loved—but I want to be intentional with this time. Travel can pick back up this fall.
And that’s kind of it for this week—we’re very much in a “get settled” phase, with a lot of planning happening behind the scenes.
I’m looking forward to some new furniture arriving this week, getting back into the kitchen, and just enjoying the warm sun on my skin. It feels so refreshing.
Enjoy your Sunday—I hope it’s filled with sunshine, spring flowers, and a cozy Sunday dinner with friends and family.
ordered, wear, and love…the Éterne Fold Over Flare Pants Fold Over Flare Pants.
loving…walking! I’ve always, always loved walking and rarely miss a day, rain or shine. Walking in Miami has been so nice! Here’s yet another study that proves just how good a daily walk is: One Small Habit That Can Help Reduce Stress Cortisol.
shopping…the Lulu and Georgia spring rug sale. I’ve already ordered so many pieces from Lulu and Georgia. For my new space, I ordered the Duna Organic Towel Collection. I adore how soft they are! I also love that they’re organic cotton, so no weird chemicals! These towels, and now their rugs, are all on sale. The sale ends TODAY, so shop now! They have the best rugs.
everything in my cart (low)…loving this Patagonia Skysail Jacket for spring. Both colors are cute. The Sizzle Red is my favorite, but it’s currently waitlisted.
Lots of great J.Crew pieces lately. This is a pretty V-neck sweater. I love it most in the merino wool shade.
And from Zara, I adore this cropped knit Jumper. It would be so cute with jean shorts on a summer night.
listening to…Emma Grede Gets Personal On The Cost of Ambition, Self Mastery, & The Truth About Success. So many wonderful, helpful words of wisdom. I loved this podcast. Also, David Grutman On The Truth About Power, Access, Success, & What It Really Takes To Build An Empire.
summer travel…These Hotels Are Made for Walking, five luxury retreats around the world with hiking and cycling trails that start right at your doorstep. The second my mom reads this, she will be planning her next trip around these destinations. Actually, she said to add The Son Net, also in Mallorca. They’ve visited here and loved it. It’s located on a vineyard in the mountainous interior of Mallorca. It’s pricey, but very beautiful with nice hiking.
ordering…this cute Year of The Horse Mug for a friend who loves riding and grew up around horses. She is going to love these!
everything in my cart (beauty)…it’s the last weekend of the Sephora sale. I’ve been loving this U Beauty The SUPER Tinted Hydrator Tinted Moisturizer Vitamin E + Antioxidants. They sent it to me a few weeks ago, and it’s been an awesome lightweight moisturizer for warm days. Plus, super hydrating.
And the Laura Mercier Long-Wear Tinted Moisturizer Natural Dewy Skin Tint SPF 30 with Hyaluronic Acid. I want to try this next! Ordered since it is on sale.

everything in my cart (high)…so many beautiful pieces out for spring, summer, and fall! Love the new Lauren 1979 bag from Bottega Veneta (but only in the midnight color, so pretty). Also from Bottega, a very fun Andiamo clutch. Both alabaster and midnight are great, but the midnight is my favorite.
This is the most gorgeous Shearling jacket from Prada. But the price tag is not ok. That’s what they call an investment piece.
Also from Prada, but much more reasonable, these cute Antiqued Leather Pumps. I would get them in the cocoa brown or white.
sharing…my best spring strawberry recipes.

Sharing a very cute idea for a spring and summer nights with your best girlfriends!

I love a good game – whether it’s with friends, family, or both. Nothing beats a chill game night.
I used to do a lot of puzzles as a kid, so I love that they’re having a moment right now. Who knew puzzles could be “trendy”?

What will you be doing with all the furniture purchased when you go back to Colorado?
Hey Maggie! We will sell it or take with us what we want. I may eventually be buying something, just trying out some new areas!
Have a great week!
Decorating a space is exciting, but it can be stressful. If living in Miami is temporary, why didn’t your family get a furnished rental home?
Hey Nancy, this house was just the best option! Things move quickly in Miami and we didn’t want to miss finding a good place that fit our needs.
Hope you have a great week!
Are you still working with Snif & the wine company? I never see you talk about either anymore so I wasn’t sure!
Hey Callianne,
I sure am! I don’t currently have any Snif candles out at this time, usually around the fall, so keep an eye out then!
You can find all of the wines here:

Thanks for asking! Have a great Sunday!
Oh my, that has to be challenging to move into a place that doesn’t even have furniture! It seems like this change to go to Miami for several months was a bit of a last minute thing for you, so I just wanted to see how you’re doing with all of this! I know you have a lot of anxiety so I can only imagine! I hope the sunshine is helpful for you!!
Hey Katie,
Thanks for reading today! It’s been an adjustment, but it really has been so nice and a great change of pace for me!
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!
It is hard for me to find the balance with products – any tips? I know you said you’re buying organic cotton because of “weird chemicals” in towels, but you wear (and link!) a lot of mixed material clothing & toxic candles. Sometimes it feels overwhelming to figure out! I know you’ve said you do what feels right for you, but I’d love any tips! Thanks Tieghan! Have a good week!
Hey Tara! For me personally, I just try to do what I can. Things like my towels and bed sheets are important because I use them every night for hours at a time. If we’re spending 5–9 hours in bed each night, I like knowing my sheets and blankets aren’t causing my body any harm.
I also love candles and try to find the cleanest ones possible. That said, they bring me so much happiness that if one isn’t perfect, I let it slide.
I can’t do everything, but I focus on what matters most to me. You just have to do what feels right for you!
Have a great week!!
I’ve never heard about towels having “weird chemicals” – I’d love to hear more about this! Can you elaborate? Thanks!
Hi Allie,
A lot of our clothing and towels can have toxi chemicals in them, organic cotton is what I try to aim for with my towels and sheets.
Thanks for reading!
What a unique read! I had to say I laughed when I saw your stories yesterday of you hiding in the bushes filming your mom on a work call. Too funny! God bless your mom!!
Lol thanks for reading today, Brenda!! Hope you have a great Sunday!
