Happy November! Thanksgiving talk, chatter, and planning all start now! I’m so excited to share that my 2026 Thanksgiving menu will be live tomorrow! A little sneak peek below!

My week has been Thanksgiving and pretty much nothing else. Planning, cooking, arranging, photographing, and writing. More on all of that below, but it’s officially all things holiday around here. And that makes me happiest!

It’s funny because this has been one of those weeks filled with so many small, everyday joys, but some sadness too.

My grandpa isn’t doing very well. This is my mom’s dad, my sweet Nonnie’s husband, and my last living grandparent. He’s a really special guy and has been such a big part of my life.

Growing up in Cleveland, we saw my grandparents all the time. They were a huge part of my childhood and teenage years. Every spring break, we’d head to Florida to spend Easter with them. Between my grandpa and my Nonnie, they helped create so many of the memories I hold closest.

I miss my Nonnie more and more every day. I know she’s looking down on our family, providing strength, courage, and guidance. And I know she’s doing the same for my grandpa as he continues to fight.

He and my mom are two of the strongest people I know. I admire that strength so much.

So this week has had its wins, its hard moments, and plenty of good too.

My cousin Abby is doing so much better. Her little boy, Xavier, was born on Oslo’s birthday (October 11), but unfortunately, he’s been in the NICU ever since. Xavier developed Meconium Aspiration Syndrome, which happens when a baby breathes in fluid containing meconium (their first bowel movement) around the time of birth.

It’s been such a difficult few weeks for Abby, going back and forth to the hospital and especially having to leave Xavier there each night. But the happiest news of all? Xavier is finally coming home! After everything they’ve been through, I couldn’t be more excited for their little family!

It’s been such a difficult journey for them, but I really believe this is part of Xavier’s story. Something about this experience and everything he’s already overcome will make him even more special. And over time, I think we’ll learn just what that is.

Life is such a mix of happy moments and hard ones. This week has been a reminder of that. I’m feeling especially grateful for family, the people we love, and all those little everyday moments that are so easy to overlook.

And with November here, I’m looking forward to all the holiday traditions, family dinners, and special moments ahead. This really is my favorite time of year, and I’m so excited to share it all with you!

Enjoy another Sunday Favorites, and Happy November!

1. Things I’m Loving.

I have SO many things bookmarked right now. All the holiday collections are launching, and I’m loving everything! It’s so much fun scrolling through all the new arrivals. Now I just need some holiday parties to be invited to!

A lot of what I’ve been saving is designer, so I’m just going to share a handful of my favorite pieces.

Dôen has been consistently launching such beautiful pieces, and their holiday coats are especially fun! I’d reach for the Lamont coat for just about any holiday party, Thanksgiving, or Christmas gathering. So pretty!

The Miu Miu cotton fleece is now available in holiday colors! Super cute. I love this snowflake fleece in either color, and this wool sweater is another favorite. Pretty big splurges though.

If you’re looking for a great utility jacket, this one from Banana Republic is so nice. I’ve really loved what Banana Republic has been doing this year. They’re creating beautiful, higher-end-looking pieces at more reasonable price points, without sacrificing quality. I’m impressed!

For everyday wear, I’ve been living in these straight-leg sweatpants, these flares, or layering these leggings under these track pants for early morning Pilates classes, which I’ve really been enjoying! I also love that Vuori offers so many sizing options. I usually order the short length in their pants, and the fit is great.

And since we’re officially entering the holiday season, how cute are these Christmas pajamas? I love a festive pajama set!

The biggest splurge on my list is this gorgeous cropped jacket with the prettiest fur detailing. I also LOVE this reversible coat. My Nonnie had a long coat just like this, and I’ll forever be on the hunt for something similar. I can still picture her wearing it. So special.

Speaking of vintage, did you know you can now shop vintage Ralph Lauren pieces? So fun! Currently in my cart is this festive sleeveless sweater. I could keep going because I have so many pieces saved, but I’ll stop myself here!

One last find! I’m adding this Ralph Lauren Wool Cardigan Coat to my mom’s Christmas list. The blue would make her eyes pop! It’s so pretty, and she loves a good long duster coat. I think she’d wear this all winter long.

That’s enough shopping from me for today! The holiday collections are really good this year, and I’m having way too much fun looking through everything!

Listening To

I’ve been switching up my podcasts lately! A little bit of fun, business, health and wellness, and I’ve been diving into more guided meditations, too. I’m really enjoying the mix!

I especially enjoyed Brigid Titgemeier with Arielle Lorre. Brigid is a functional medicine registered dietitian who focuses on metabolic health, blood sugar regulation, and how food and nutrition can help address the root causes of chronic symptoms.

I’ve become increasingly interested in functional medicine and the idea of looking at the body as a whole rather than focusing on individual symptoms. So much of what they discussed really resonated with me.

I love learning more about how our bodies work and the little things we can do every day to support our health.

Travel

We went to Telluride a few Christmases ago, and I’ve been thinking about how fun it would be to go back for New Year’s Eve! I need to see what my mom thinks about the idea. It’s such a magical little mountain town, especially with all the snow, twinkling lights, and beautiful scenery.

Gifting

Boll & Branch blankets make the BEST gifts! The Sunday Throw Blanket is my personal favorite. It’s such a beautiful gift for a hostess, someone moving into a new home, your mother-in-law, or really anyone on your list. Who doesn’t love a soft, cozy blanket during the winter months? It’s one of those gifts that feels special but is also something people will actually use and love.

Selfishly, I really want the Holly color for my own bed. It’s so pretty for the holidays!

And if you’re gifting candles, I highly recommend the Diptyque Sapin (Pine Tree) candle. It’s wonderful! It makes your home smell like fresh Christmas trees, which is one of my favorite scents this time of year. Such a lovely hostess gift, too!

Around my home

I finally got myself a humidifier! After a lot of reading and comparing, I landed on the Canopy Bedside Humidifier. Loving it so far! The Colorado air is SO dry this time of year, and I’ve been needing one for a while now.

I also ordered my cousin Abby the Nursery Humidifier and Baby Bathtub Filter for little Xavier. As I mentioned, is finally coming home, and I couldn’t be more excited for them!

I also found a new soap dish for the shower. It matches my marble beautifully! Now all it needs is this soap brick. It’s the little things!

And I LOVE this Loloi x Jeremiah Brent Obelisk Rug. I think it would be so pretty in my office or even my closet. Still deciding, but I have it saved!

For the kitchen, I found this stainless steel container for my Vitamix. It’s especially nice for puréeing hot soups, which I’m making a lot of right now. Plus, I try to avoid plastic when I can, so I love having a stainless steel option.

As I’ve been hinting, I’ve been shopping for the holidays for WEEKS now. Everything from decorations and fresh greenery to saving gifts for my mom and sister. I’ve even created separate notes for both of them to keep track of all my ideas. It’s getting serious over here!

This week, while shopping for wrapping paper on Rifle Paper Co., I came across this adorable Beary Christmas Embroidered Journal. SO CUTE! I’m ordering one for all my holiday recipe notes. I love having a pretty little notebook to jot down ideas, especially this time of year.

Speaking of wrapping paper, I ordered a few rolls of this holiday wrapping paper. The prints are so fun!

And I have a question for you all. Do you have any favorite Etsy shops for Christmas wrapping paper? A few years ago, I bought about a dozen rolls, and I’m finally running low. I’ve loved every single one! Beautiful wrapping paper makes gifts feel even more special and thoughtful. I really enjoy the wrapping part of gifting, almost as much as finding the gifts themselves!

Clearly, I’m not holding back on the holidays this year.

Just call me Holiday Cheermeister Tieghan. FABULOUS!

I’ll end with candles because, of course, I have more candles to share!

I ordered the entire Boy Smells holiday collection. Every single scent. Incensorial, Festive Hinoki Fantôme, Special Brownie, and Xxmas Tree. I couldn’t choose! These would make such fun holiday gifts, too. A pretty candle is always one of my favorite things to gift.

Are you judging me yet? I’m a little scared.

But also, it’s NOVEMBER! This is what we’ve been waiting for all year. Let the holiday fun begin!

Beauty

Currently shopping nail polishes for Christmas stockings! My favorites are OPI in Crème Shimmer and Glitter (so fun!), Gucci in 25 Goldie Red, and Chanel Le Vernis in Rouge Noir. All so pretty for the holidays!

I also love Dior Vernis in Golden Cinnamon, but I’m curious how it actually looks on nails. Has anyone tried it? And Chanel Le Vernis in Fugueuse is beautiful, but every time I try navy polish, it ends up looking almost black. Not quite the festive look I’m going for!

I finished my probiotic whitening toothpaste, and I’ve also been happily reunited with my wonderful Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter by Josie Maran. SO good! Especially with how dry my skin gets in Colorado.

I’m also trying the new Sunday Riley C.E.O. Body Butter and using their Vitamin C and Turmeric Face Oil, which I’ve loved in the past. I’m excited to have it back in my routine!

And I’ve been loving everything I’ve tried from Allies of Skin. My favorite is their Advanced Hydrating Serum. I use it before applying any creams for an extra layer of hydration and to help support my skin barrier.

Being back in Colorado, my skin needs ALL the moisture it can get!

This Week’s Little Joy

A sweet text from my brother Red sharing a note from his U.S. team physical therapist. His mom is going through cancer treatment, and he’s been back home helping care for her. We sent her a signed cookbook and a little something extra, and she received it this week!

Red shared that she was so thankful for the signed book and that it really made her day. Such a small gesture, but knowing it brought her a little happiness during a difficult time made my day, too. It’s moments like these that mean the most.

Looking Ahead

A heavy focus on home, family, and the holidays. It’s such a beautiful season, with so many blessings to be thankful for and special moments still to come.
