Kicking off a month of “spooky” cocktails with this “I Put a Spell on You” Poison Apple Martini. Apple cider, a small splash of pomegranate, vodka, and edible gold glitter. All combined together to make the perfect easy martini for this year’s Halloween party. It’s fun, spooky, and completely delicious!

I told you guys I was getting into the Halloween season this year and I wasn’t messing around. This drink is all things spooky, fun, and deliciously perfect for the autumn season too.
Today marks the kick off of many Cocktail Saturdays to come. From now through Christmas we’ll have a new cocktail every Saturday…which is a lot of new drinks!
I’m so excited, you guys know how much I love these cocktail posts. I really do have a lot of fun putting them together.
As always, these posts will be very short and sweet. Just a paragraph or two and then the recipe! So with that…

Here are the details
The base of the recipe is made up of four ingredients, spiced apple cider, pomegranate juice, vodka, and maple.
The drink itself is a blood-red color, but I made my cocktails glisten with some edible gold glitter. This is optional, but adds a very magical touch to the drink!

Promise you guys will love this martini. It’s all things Halloween and I could not love it more. Enjoy, and we’ll see you tomorrow for another Favorites post!

This sounds delicious! I am looking for a good cocktail for Thanksgiving – do you think this would be good to prepare ahead in a large batch?
Hi Marissa! Yes, you can definitely make ahead in a large batch! 🙂 xTieghan
Tieghan, have you seen Runamoks’s sparkle maple syrup? It’s full of sparkles! I’m going to try it tonight in this cocktail or in the Golden Snitch. They also make maple bitters. Love your recipes So much! Made a fab Thai dish the other night!! The chicken meatball one.

Hi Lorie! These are awesome, thanks so much for sharing with me! 🙂 xTiegahn
This is so beautiful. I made it twice this past weekend- once with my daughter on our “cooking day” (while watching Hocus Pocus); and the other time for my friend playing mahjong. It is so beautiful with the gold edible glitter. Makes it look like a boiling cauldron! Definitely a keeper recipe!
Hi Marie! Thanks so much for trying out this recipe, I hope you loved it! Have a great week 🙂 xTieghan
I used their ginger infused maple to make this! Perfect!
