Prepare for a Hawaiian salmon burger photo overload.
I just got too excited.
Too excited about these salmon burgers.
Too excited about the coconut caramelized pineapple I put on these burgers.
Too excited about the Hawaiian BBQ sauce dripping down the burger.
Can you guys tell, I get really, really excited about things.
And when I say things, what I really mean is food. Especially pretty food on pretty things. I also get way too excited about an empty house, a clean house, flowers and ah… lists.
Yeah, I love lists.
Although, lately my list making abilities have been highly sub-par
Meaning I actually have not made a list in a month and trust me, my life has been a scattered mess the past thirty days without them. I must get back to my list making. I am seriously craving a really good list.
I need one for the grocery store today. It’s gonna be long. Think Santa’s Christmas list long. Trust me if Santa would pay one of our grocery bills for Christmas that would be awesome. Feeding way too many people over here.
Way too many.
Like I said the other week, we are over capacity.
Oh, and none of the people I am feeding like good food.
With the exception of my dad, and sort of my mom – remember she doesn’t like any fish or seafood. But my dad is only one person and he doesn’t need to eat all that much.
The hungry must eat all the time, they must eat mass amounts, and none of it can have anything to do with seafood, fruit or vegetables. Pastas can only have cheese or butter. Pizzas, only cheese and sauce. Even chicken with anything other than smashed potato chips all over it, is highly suspect to them.
Yeah, you see what I am dealing with here? It is torture. Ninty five percent of the dinners I make, I also have to make a separate dinner for the boys.
It sinks.
Especially since they are missing out like crazy.
Even my mom is missing out.
Well, half missing out. I made her a Hawaiian chicken sandwich, with the pineapple and sauce. She loved it. Actually she went crazy for it, but she is still missing out on the benefits of salmon. But if you too are not into seafood or salmon, you can definitely do this with chicken and it still tastes great.
But the salmon is better… in my opinion at least.
Plus, look at that pretty pink color.
I love it.
The fresh copper river salmon that is in the store right now is just insane.
Insanely pretty.
Insanely good.
It’s just insane!
Kind of like the amount of photos in this post.
Sorry.
I just could not choose. Choosing is way too hard. No, more like impossible.
I honestly cannot do it.
So, I just gave you a boatload of them.
Hope you don’t mind.
Oh and just a FYI, I am in a pineapple phase right now. I cut up three over the weekend. Yes, three. I really hope you guys are into pineapple. If not, I promise some more pasta and chocolate and creamy things soon.
It’s all gonna be so good.

Our favorite salmon burgers on Pinterest are Thai salmon burgers. So why try something new? But I was intrigued and made it tonight. We loved them and had a hard time deciding which burgers were better. Imagine my surprise when I found out you created both salmon burgers. You are very talented, creative and young! Kudos to you for your passion, drive and accomplishments. So impressive. You and your burgers!
THANK YOU! So happy you love the burger recipes! Happy Holidays 🙂
I made these and OH MY GOODNESS aaaammmmaaazzzziiinnnggggg it was so delicious and fresh…my twin sister loved it and she’s such a picky eater
Awesome! THANK YOU!
I stumbled across this website looking for a salmon burger with a Hawaiian nod….absolutely fits the bill and will use it again and again! I had salmon filets to use from frozen so I slow baked them first and shredded the filets with a fork, followed all other ingredients as stated. It was great and next time will try from thawed in the food processor
Tieghan, you are quite simply the Queen of All Burgers!! I made this last summer and it was the best meal I’ve ever tasted. I’ll be making it again numerous times as soon as my grill is up and running. Thanks for a fantastic recipe!
I cannot wait to make these tonight! AMAZING! I think I’ll add bacon for a play on ham and pineapple. Thanks!
Hi there! This post couldn’t be written any better!
Looking through this post reminds me of my previous roommate!
He always kept preaching about this. I most certainly will forward this post to him.
Pretty sure he will have a great read. Thanks for sharing!
So I found this recipe a while ago on pinterest and just had to try it. I made it and it was amazing!!!! My whole family loved it! It was different and super tasty. I’m a huge fan of salmon as well as all of these flavors. I forgot about it due to trying other recipes, but I am making it again tomorrow and I’m so excited. It’s easy and delicious! Thank you for posting it!
SO happy you loved these burgers!! Thanks!
i have been reading blogs and trying thier recipes for quiet a while now, but your log is my new and most favourite, your recipes are so unique, it was getting a bit tiring of the same cookies and banana bread recipes all over ! thank you for such inspiring recipes. looking forward to more great desserts and burgers 😉
THANK YOU! I am so excited you are enjoying my recipes!
we loved these so much, had to make them again the next day…! and for dessert made samoao macaroon tarts ,loving your burger and dessert recipes!
SO excited you loved these burgers!! And that dessert? YUM!!
Looks fabulous – can’t wait to try it! There’s hope for the picky eaters. 20 years ago I was in your shoes. Not even butter or cheese allowed on the pasta (unless it was kraft – yuck!) Lots of plain bread too. But things change. My adult offspring are now great cooks, foodies, adventurous eaters! It started slow – when my son went to camp, he came back and raved about the goulash – why didn’t I ever make anything like that? What?!? Don’t argue! Just grit your teeth and smile and say maybe you can try to see if you can make it as good as they made it at camp. Then don’t go overboard. Eventually they will come around. Now they are in their 20s, when we gather for a family dinner and everyone contributes, the food is off the charts! In fact, my daughter posted this recipe on her facebook page because she made it and loved it. There is hope!
WOW! That is awesome, thank you so much for sharing your story!
These were insane good! Made them last night with fresh jalapenos and wild salmon – to die for. Thanks for the great recipe; I will definitely be making these again.
So happy you loved these quesadillas !
Another fab recipe! I made this last night and can’t wait to plop an over-easy egg on a leftover burger for breakfast this morning. You’re seriously my new favorite food blogger. Also, I listed you as one of 16 accounts my readers should follow on Pinterest. Great stuff, all around. 🙂 Cheers!
Thank so much, Amber!! I love egg version!
And thanks for the pinterest love!
