Apple cider, orange juice, hints of lemon, spiced pumpkin butter, vodka, and brandy all mixed together to create an autumn punch that’s great for all of our upcoming entertaining. Rim the glasses in cinnamon sugar, and top each drink off with ginger beer, to create an extra special fall cocktail that everyone will love! This punch is great for everything from Halloween, to Friendsgiving, to Thanksgiving, and every other day in between.
Somehow it’s already the last Saturday of October. No idea how this happened, but it’s here. Meaning Halloween is this week (are you dressing up?). And Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away. It’s a little overwhelming, but also so very exciting.
I’ve been dying to share today’s cocktail since the start of October, so I’m very happy the day has finally come to tell you all about this pumpkin filled drink. It’s pretty much the most perfect punch for Halloween or Thanksgiving, and it’s SO GOOD.
Do you all remember my spiced pumpkin butter I made a few weeks back? Well, I’ve been obsessed with that pumpkin butter ever since the day I made it. So far I’ve used it on this delicious maple latte and now this punch. I have one more recipe using my favorite pumpkin butter coming in November. But for now let’s focus on this easy pumpkiny punch.
Just like most punch recipes, you simply add everything to a punch bowl and call it a day. Unlike other punch recipes however, this one is oh so flavorful, with autumn spices, hints of pumpkin, zesty citrus, and sweet apple throughout.
My inspiration for this drink was this pretty pumpkin punch bowl. So naturally, I needed to include pumpkin and spices. I used a blend of apple cider, orange juice, and lemon juice as my mixer. Then added in vodka and brandy for warmth. And topped the punch off with ginger beer for the ultimate fall touch.
To take things just a step further, I rimmed my glasses with cinnamon sugar. Totally optional, but it gives the drink a sweet finish that pretty much makes this the best fall punch. Ever. It’s true.
Tip? First test this out this weekend. Then make a double batch for Halloween. And then, since the punch was so well received at Halloween, go for it again on Thanksgiving!

- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup pumpkin butter homemade or store bought
- 8 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces brandy
- 2 (12 ounces) bottles ginger beer or sparkling water
- arils from 1 pomegranate
- 2 thinly sliced apples
- cinnamon sugar, for rims
- 1. In a large pitcher, combine the apple cider, orange juice, lemon juice, pumpkin butter, vodka, and brandy. Chill until ready to serve.2. When ready to serve, add the ginger beer, pomegranate arils, and apple slices. If desired, rim glasses in cinnamon sugar, fill with ice. Pour punch into glasses.
