Giving the classic Moscow Mule a tropical, springy twist with this Orange Pineapple Moscow Mule. Vodka mixed with fresh lime juice, sweet orange juice, pineapple, and topped off with ginger beer…for a touch of sweetness and a little bit of bubbly! It’s vibrant, light, and so refreshing, perfect for spring and summer nights, and warm backyard parties.

I took a little break from sharing cocktails after the holidays, but with warm weather ahead, I figure it’s high time to start back up again!  I always have so much fun getting creative with cocktails. Drinks are an area of recipe development where I can really let my creativity run, and just have fun. Drinks are never “serious”. They’re meant to be quick, simple, easy, delicious, and so fun! Spring/summer drinks are especially fun for me…and obviously so refreshing on extra warm days!

To be honest, I really only ever make a Moscow Mule during the holidays. For whatever reason, it’s always been a cocktail that feels very fall/winter to me. But as of today I’m changing all that. I’m excited to now have this easy Pineapple Moscow Mule recipe in my back pocket for the warmer spring and summer days to come.

As mentioned, this is one of the easiest cocktails to make. It requires only and handful of ingredients that I personally always have one hand. Vodka, limes, pineapple, ginger beer, and my go-to cocktail mixer – Florida’s Natural® Brand Orange Juice. You guys know I am such a fan of Florida’s Natural® Brand Orange Juice. It’s made with only Florida oranges…no added sugars or artificial ingredients…just as orange juice should be! I always have some OJ in my fridge in case of an impromptu taco night. Now I can serve up my favorite street tacos along with this tropical pineapple mule to really tie the meal together.

Just mix everything up in your favorite Moscow Mule glass, top with ginger beer, and DONE. This is hands down one of the quickest cocktails to mix up, yet also one that everyone loves. It’s sweet and citrusy, with a little bit of a zing from the spicy ginger beer.

And lastly, here’s a little warm weather entertaining tip…

Keep orange juice, pineapple, limes, ginger beer, and an assortment of alcohol on hand. That way you can mix up this fruit Moscow Mule at a moment’s notice. You never know when you’re going to need a good tropical drink. As long as you have these pantry ingredients, you’ll always be able to whip up a great drink. Trust me, having ingredients on hand when friends show up randomly makes visits so much more fun.

I’ve even included a pitcher style recipe, just in case you want to serve this up at your next backyard BBQ! Always trying to think one step ahead!

Another delicious cocktail! The store was out of pineapple juice but DID have orange pineapple juice, so I did that instead of the OJ. My husband said he loves this more than a traditional Moscow Mule! Refreshing and crisp. Thank you!

After 3 days of hesitation, I have finally decided to try this recipe out, although I failed to make it looks exactly like yours but it turned out to be very tasty.

  6. I love Moscow mules, but have always wondered whether the recipes call for alcoholic or non-alcoholic ginger beer? And the preferred brands for each. I find it difficult to find a non alcoholic one that has a great bite to it. Feverfew is my current choice. Any spicier around?

    1. Hi there! I like to use non-alcoholic ginger beer. I like to use Reeds or our local CO brand. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! xTieghan
