Thank you Nancy! xTieghan
Tieghan, this is absolutely gorgeous, and I’m inspired to attempt to replicate your menu to celebrate Christmas with my dad this weekend. However, for the life of me, I can’t understand where you found plums this time of year!!
Would you recommend using canned purple plums or red plum jam as a substitute?
Merry Christmas!
…as a substitute for the fresh plums in the sauce for the beef, obviously. =)
Hey Jenn! My grocery store typically has plums in December is that odd?
I think canned plums would be fine or use 1 cup fresh cranberries. Let me know if you have questions. Hope you love this! 🙂
Looks amazing! Quick question, for the mushroom soup, were the chestnuts packaged in a liquid? The only ones I can find are at the dollar store in a bag and they are almost like water chestnuts you get in cans.
Hey Nicole,
Those will work, just drain the liquid from them. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Merry Christmas!
