You guys. It is FREEZING!
I mean, it’s not the coldest it’s ever been or anything, but it’s cold. We have snow on the ground and it’s currently 6 degrees out. Since this week is all about cozy foods, spending time with family and friends, relaxing and preparing to welcome in the New Year, I thought it would be the perfect time to share a little round-up of my favorite winter crockpot recipes. I adore using my crockpot all-year round, but it is especially nice during the holidays when things are crazy and I’m busy, off doing stuff all day long. Whether it’s squeezing in a little work or spending time with my family outside, it’s always nice to get dinner started in the morning and have it waiting for us when we return home.
You guys remember how my family and I did a little snowmobiling day last week? While I got this chili started in the morning and when we came home it was ready and waiting. Which was perfect because we were all tired and starving. Below I’ve gathered up a list of my 20 favorite winter crockpot recipes. Some are a little indulgent, while others are on the very healthy side. For those of you planning your healthy come back after New Years, don’t worry, tomorrow’s post is all about the healthy eats!
For this week though, I feel like we can all continue to indulge a little. In my mind, it’s a vacation week and Healthy January will be starting soon enough (on the 2nd). Who’s with me? OH, and if you guys are planning out your New Year’s menus, there are plenty of recipes listed here that will be perfect for your celebrations. I don’t know about you guys, but on New Year’s Eve I’m typically off doing something fun, and this year I’m definitely not spending the entire day in the kitchen. That means an easy crockpot recipe for me. Plus, these mushrooms and this punch. Already pretty excited. What are you guys making?
PS. make sure to save room for my brunch cocktails that I’ll be sharing on Friday!!

Oh man, these all look wonderful. My guy & I have a long tradition of making a crockpot supper for new years day – its the perfect time for some comfort food, and to nurse a hangover haha ! I got a brisket on sale today, so we’ll be having brisket tater tot nachos with all the fixins – tons of shredded cheese, sour cream, guac, pickled jalapenos & onions. So excited !
