Hey, hi! Welcome to the first ever Cocktail Saturday!!

Raspberry Rose Tequila Kombucha | halfbakedharvest.com @hbharvest

I am so excited to be starting something a little new here on the site, and to be kicking it off with this fizzy, kind of healthy, raspberry rose tequila kombucha. So many of you mentioned how much you enjoyed my Christmas Drink Saturday posts that I decided it might be fun to do something like that all year long. SO, while I might be a little late in getting these going…here we go! The first Cocktail Saturday post of the year.

Here’s what you need to know about these posts. I’m going to do them just a little differently then my typical daily posts. These are going to be a little shorter and focus a bit more on the cocktail at hand. Kind of a short and sweet style post, with plenty of photos. I am hoping to post them every other Saturday. What do you guys think?

Alright, so let me tell you about the drink. First things first, you need to know that I am mildly obsessed with kombucha, and have been for about a year now. I LOVE them, and all of their fizzy glory. Plus, they make my stomach feel all kinds of awesome, I cannot get enough. This is not the first time I’ve made a cocktail using kombucha, see my kombucha mojitos…another favorite! That said, this tequila kombucha is probably the go-to drink for all the girls in my life (hey, hey I’m talking about you miss triple the lime, extra sparkles, Caitlin, and you miss tequila loving, Lyndsie…and happy belated birthday too). Tequila, lots and lots of lemon or lime, some fruit (we always switch it up, but pomegranate, pineapple and blackberries are all favorites) and then of course, topped with kombucha. See, it’s our “healthy” cocktail.

I thought that I would share a version here on blog, since we make it so often. I went for a raspberry rose flavor since we have Valentine’s Day coming up. The rose-water is a little fancy, but totally fun for V-day. No big deal if you don’t have it or don’t feel like buying it…the combo of raspberry, lemon and tequila is a winner with or without it.

OH, and while tequila is the alcohol of choice around here, vodka can also be used. Hope you guys are all having a great weekend!
