Nine Favorite Things | halfbakedharvest.com

Happiest Sunday! Hope you are all having the best weekend and soaking in the last Sunday of summer… Although in my book it’s totally fall and has been for a couple of weeks…

We’re coming off of what I would say was a pretty great week. I’m feeling extremely grateful, thankful, and excited. I know I’ve been talking about it all week long, but our shoot with Anthropologie was so fun and went so well. It was a ton of work, but I am just beyond excited about the studio space, the amazing content we created, the incredible team I got to work with, the recipes I made, and I really just cannot wait to share it all with you this coming October.

So many fun things to come.

Below I’m sharing a sneak peek glimpse of the four-day shoot. I got SO many questions on Instagram about the products we were using, the clothes I was wearing, all the little details, so more on that below!

I’m off to NYC today for a quick work trip, returning home Tuesday night. Should be a fun couple of days in the city. I’ve never been to NYC in September, so I’m excited. My one goal this trip? Explore Central Park a little more. I’m sure it’s so pretty this time of year! Anything else I should be doing? I don’t have much time, but I’d love to squeeze in as much as possible!

Coming up this week on HBH we have a full line up of new fall recipes including a cozy, but healthy, butternut squash dish, an apple filled breakfast that I created for one of my favorite cookbooks, a skillet chicken that’s anything but boring, my favorite fall salad, and of course, ending the week with something sweet.

If you missed anything from this past week, be sure to sign up for our newsletter here. Also, I shared our first cocktail Saturday post of the fall season yesterday, so be sure to check that out. This Fig Cider Bourbon Smash is one of my favorite easy cocktails.

Enjoy this Sunday’s Favorites!

1. Behind the Scenes of Our Anthropologie Shoot.

As I mentioned above, I had the best time shooting with Anthropologie this past week in the new studio space. The content that we created will not be out until later in October, but I wanted to share a small glimpse inside the shoot. We spent months planning, had over twenty people working on set, and about four days of shooting. So much work, but also so much fun.

Here’s some behind the scenes photos and product details. Enjoy!

2. Camille Style’s 21 Day Social Media Challenge.

I’m really excited to be taking part in Camille Style’s 21 Day Social Media Challenge. Have you heard of it?

To recap, the challenge is all about promoting healthy social media habits and inspiring people to use technology to connect with the people, places, and ideas they care about. Each day, Camille and her incredible team are challenging readers to replace a negative social media habit with something more meaningful. Things like planning a phone free happy hour or dinner, going for a walk without your phone, unfollowing any accounts that fill you with negativity, comparison, or inadequacy, etc.

This is an issue that’s so close to me, so I am really excited to be apart of it. I shared my personal tips on I how I practice healthy social media habits with Camille Style’s readers this week. You can read about my healthy habits and a few other influencers here.

3. Fall Decor I am Loving…

Fall is in less than a week, so it’s time to start thinking about fall decor. Here’s what I’m excited about for both my home and studio space.

4. Comment of the Week.

I get so many incredible emails and comments each and every week, but this week I got one from my oldest brother, Creighton, that just made me laugh so hard. I couldn’t not share it, so…

Like I said, he tells it like it is. You should probably make this Homemade Chicken Noodle Casserole for Sunday night dinner. You should, you should!

5. New Videos:

One Skillet Lemon Butter Chicken and Orzo…favorite easy, healthy dinner.

Cacio e Pepe with Arugula and Lemon…pasta perfection, and so easy.

6. The Chriselle Lim Collection

My incredibly inspiring friend Chriselle Lim just launched her first solo collection sold exclusively at Nordstrom beginning this week, and it is gorgeous. If you follow Chriselle then you know her style is timeless, and her first collection is a reflection of that. It’s simple, limitless, and so chic as Chriselle would say. I have my sights sets on this trench coat. So cute.

Check out my favorite pieces from the collection below.

PS. I shared my favorite healthy zucchini carbonara over on The Chriselle Factor this week. Check it out, it’s a good one.

  1. I have to say, as far as mitigating the anxiety and negativity, it helps me not to follow any lifestyle social media accounts that feel *too* perfect, too contrived, too unrealistic. Unfortunately these days, that’s almost all of them. I will check them from time to time, but they just seem kind of cliche, and they all start looking the same anyway. Of course there are others I adore (like HBH!) that are super positive and gorgeous too! I stick with those.

  2. In NYC for just a couple of days- I always try to go to ABC Carpet and Home and Fish Eddy’s (directly across the street). Just so much to look at and inspire.

  3. Happy Sunday Tieghan! I’m just so very excited for fall, this post just got me PUMPED. The style of the Anthropology shoot is everything. I love your white sweater ♥
Also very excited for Chrissy’s Target line!

    Have a terrific week ahead!

  4. Always enjoy your Nine Favorite Things posts. I’m liking Chip and Joanna Gaines new line for Target – looks like I’ll be buying new Fall decorations! Love the Anthropologie photos. They look beautiful! Thanks for all your amazing recipes!

  5. I love your recipes and your blog. I love Carrie Underwood’s the champion, but I also like Game on….if that is what her new song is called. Disappointed so many people are completely unhinged about it.

  6. Good morning! I love your Nine Favorite Things posts! And your other posts too of course 🙂
Question: I plan to make the Chicken Noodle Casserole for a friend recovering from surgery. Will probably freeze it since she will get meals from several people. Best to freeze prior to cooking, or after? Par-bake? And I assume that I would provide a bag of Kettle Chips rather than adding prior to freezing (soggy = yucky). Thanks for any tips!

    1. Hey Lori! I would pre-bake (minus the chips), then give directions to add the chips and finish baking. That will be great!! You are such a kind friend! 🙂 Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe. Thanks so much! xTieghan
