This super simple Instant Pot Pesto Zuppa Toscana is the perfect cold-weather dinner…great for nights when I’m craving Italian, but want something warming too. Spicy Italian chicken sausage simmered in a creamy basil pesto broth with potatoes, kale, a little lemon, and even a little bacon. Finish each bowl off with a sprinkle of cheese and serve with crusty bread. It’s hearty, full of greens, and so delicious. Great for just about any night of the week. And the leftovers the next day make for the best lunch!

This Italian soup is a recipe I’ve been wanting to create for a while now. I’m not sure what took me so long to test this out, but I’m so happy I finally did, because wow, this is hands down a new family favorite.

Technically this is soup, but it’s definitely hearty enough to serve for dinner on these cold November nights (it’s been snowing here since yesterday…and I could not be happier about it). But the best part? This is SO EASY.

I worked with my Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus to create this creamy soup in just about 30 minutes. I’m sure you guys have noticed, but I’ve been loving my Instant Pot this fall. I’ve found it so useful during this insanely busy time with the launch of HBH Super Simple and all things holiday 2019. It’s really been a lifesaver and I’ve already remade this soup three times since returning home from Chicago last week.

Instant Pot Pesto Zuppa Toscana in instant pot while cooking, before adding cream

The backstory…

As with a lot of recipes, this idea came from my brother. This time though? It was my oldest brother, Creighton.

He was telling me about one of his favorite soups that he used to get at the Olive Garden – Zuppa Toscana. I’d never heard of it, so of course, I did a little Googling and discovered that the recipe actually sounds quite delicious. A lot of times Creighton can throw some rather interesting recipes at me, but this soup was one I knew I needed to put my own spin on. It took me a while to finally create the recipe, but here it is, and I think you’ll find it’s delicious.

And yes, it’s inspired by the Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden…next up…their breadsticks.

The Details…

As you might guess, this recipe is pretty straightforward and simple.

Start with your Instant Pot on sauté and cook off the bacon. Then add in spicy Italian sausage (I always prefer to use chicken sausage, but pork sausage is great too). Next add in some onions, garlic, celery, and all the usuals.

The key to a good Zuppa Toscana is the spicy sausage and the potatoes. Once you add in the potatoes, stir in some basil pesto. This may not be traditional but it really adds so much to this hearty soup. I’ve found that both the addition of pesto and fresh lemon really lighten things up and truly enhance the Italian flavors.

At this point, simply seal the Instant Pot and cook on high pressure…just eight minutes. Then release the steam using the quick release.

Once the base has finished cooking, simply stir in some cream, parmesan, and kale.

And that’s it, just 30 minutes later you’ll have a creamy bowl of classic Italian soup. AND, you’ll have only used ONE pot and likely made very little mess. Oh, and be sure to have extra parmesan, fresh thyme, and crusty bread for serving. They really do complete the soup.

See, Super Simple yet so much flavor. This will be great for serving guests over the holidays, or just your family on a cold night. The leftovers reheat well and are delicious the following day for lunch or dinner. I haven’t had a chance to serve this to Creighton just yet, but I know that once he arrives on Friday he’ll be begging me for it. So yes, I will be making this yet again. No complaining here though…love this soup!

Add the broth, pesto, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.

    2. To the crockpot, add the the garlic, celery, potatoes, broth, pesto, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5.
    2. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the kale, cream, and parmesan. Turn the heat to high and cook until the kale is wilted. Stir in the reserved bacon.
    4. Serve the soup topped with additional parmesan and fresh thyme, if desired.

  1. Hi! Love this recipe but ran out of half and half. Can I use oat milk or coconut milk as a substitute? No regular milk on hand either.

    1. Hey Lauren,
Either of those will work. Please let me know how the recipe turns out, thanks for giving it a try! xTieghan

This soup is hands down the best soup I’ve ever made! The addition of pesto is a flavor game changer. I made this last week, and am already making it again today in the crockpot, it was that delicious! I used hot Italian sausage instead of the chicken sausage because I always have it on hand. Thanks for another fantastic recipe Tieghan!

    1. Hi Annie,
Thanks so very much for giving this recipe a go, I love to hear that it was enjoyed! Happy Thanksgiving! xTieghan

These recipes always hit the spot. My only worry is that Guy Fieri might sue her for stealing flavor town.

This soup made the whole house smell amazing and warmed us up after a long fall hike. Will be making again.

    1. Hey Tanja,
Thanks a lot for giving this recipe a try, I am so glad to hear it was enjoyed! Have the best day! xTieghan

  4. Made this tonight and it is absolutely delicious! Thanks for always pumpin’ out great recipes. Do you think it would freeze well?

    1. Hey Lexy,
Thanks a lot for giving this recipe a try, I am so glad to hear it was enjoyed! This should freeze well for you. Have the best day! xTieghan

  5. 5 stars
This was really good. I made mine on the stove top and the flavors were amazing. My family loved it. We will keep this one on rotation. Thanks Tieghan!

    1. Hey Jacquelyn,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed this recipe, thanks a lot for giving it a try. I hope you have an amazing week! xTieghan

We made this soup for the first time about a month ago and have not stopped talking about it since! Our second batch is cooking on the stove right now- the smell alone is amazing and we are so excited to dig in. Thank you for sharing your gift!

  7. 5 stars
This soup.. oh my gosh.. this soup is AMAZING!! So delicious. Cannot wait to eat leftovers tomorrow. On the other hand, the idea that this can easily be made in an instant pot is just short of psychotic. Either I have the crappiest instant pot ever or Tieghan just loves pain (I’m being sarcastic of course.. a little… I adore you Tieghan!!!). Every time I opened the instant pot to add the next ingredients it would have to warm up again. This recipe that supposedly can take 30 minutes took me an hour… and I was chopping the next thing while the other things were cooking so prep wasn’t the problem. Will 100% be cooking again but in a noooormal pot lol

  8. This was delicious!! Thank you ☺️ I used almond milk instead of the heavy cream as I’m allergic to both coconut and milk dairy! As per a suggestion I saw from you on another comment, I added cornstarch to thicken it, however it didn’t turn out as creamy or golden as yours looks. Do you want have any suggestions on how much cornstarch to add? Or any tips on how to mix it in? I decided to blend it as it looked grainy. Thanks so much!!💛

This is seriously my favorite soup. It’s hearty and SO flavorful – the sausage and pesto come together in such a delicious and addictive combo that’s just unbeatable. And it’s the one soup I can make for my bf that actually fills him up! Every time I make it it’s such a massive hit. I love this soup! Thanks HBH!

  10. Made this for the first time today on the stove top and it was delicious! Easy to follow recipe and will definitely become a staple this winter. Thank you for sharing! <3

  11. I’m really looking forward to making this soup but I’d like to double it. I’ll be using a Ninja Foodi instead of an Instapot but pressure cooker recipes are the same. Can you recommend any change to the cooking directions if I double the recipe? Do I need to add time?

  12. So good! I made a lot and shared it with my neighbors. My household loved it and my neighbors all wanted the recipe. Thank you!

    1. Hi there! If you continue to scroll all the way to the bottom of the recipe you will see slow cooker instructions 🙂 Enjoy! xTieghan

This soup was so yummy. I think the pesto addition is genius and creates a depth of flavor is not present in a traditional Zuppa toscana. Delish!

  14. 5 stars
Okay, I’ve been stalking you recipes for quite some time now and this is the first I’ve tried. Wow! So much flavor! This one really hit it out of the park.

  15. Cooking with the Instapot and kale are both fairly new concepts for me. This soup was AMAZING! My whole family ate it up. I served it up in bread bowls just to be extra 🙂 Will definitely be making again!

  16. 5 stars
Loved it! Adding the pesto makes such a difference. Will definitely be adding this to the normal winter rotation. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe!

  17. 5 stars
This is soooo good! I used hot Italian sausage and just a couple tablespoons of the pesto (brilliant idea to use the pesto!). So quick and easy, but SO flavourful! Will definitely add this to the rotation. Thank you!!!!

  18. 5 stars
This was super delicious! I didn’t have kale so used spinach, but I won’t do that again, it was way too limp in this hearty soup. I added a couple diced carrots and I thought that was successful.
Thank you for another 5 star meal 😊

  19. 5 stars
Tried this out in the instant pot, it was delicious! I used premade Barilla rustic pesto, next time I think I’d use a little less than the recipe called for.

  20. 5 stars
This is on the top of my list. Following through with the comments on spicy Chicken Sausage. That’s not available near me and I’m very interested in your response that you make your own. Do you have that recipe posted somewhere, or will you share? I just know that if anyone can pull off a great recipe for it, you can! Eagerly awaiting your answer…

    1. Hey Jan! Here is what I use:

Ground Spicy Italian Chicken Sausage: I buy ground chicken sausage at Whole Foods. If you can’t find it, you can make your own by adding the following spice mix to 1 pound ground chicken:
1 tablespoon each of fennel seed, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper; 2 teaspoons each of cayenne (or less, if you don’t want it too spicy), paprika, and garlic powder; and 1 teaspoon each of smoked paprika and crushed red pepper flakes.

      Enjoy! xTieghan

  21. I like to add a can of Cannellini beans when I make Zuppa Tuscana. I’ll have to try the pesto trick. I also use some chopped fennel bulb with the onion.

  22. 5 stars
I made this a couple of nights ago (stove
top). Oh my goodness … this is an incredibly delicious soup. We all loved it (and the leftovers were even better the following night!)

Thanks, Thiegen, for offering us home cooks such delicious recipes.

  23. 5 stars
My wife made this soup, minus the kale Omg…. This is a absolutely delicious and hearty soup…. As we say when we have found a recipe this good….. This is a do over and over….

    1. I usually buy it in sausage form, in the casing. Then remove the ground italian chicken sausage from the casings.

    2. Hi there! I always have a hard time finding it too, which is why I usually just make my own spice mixture to give ground chicken that italian flavor! 🙂 xTieghan

  24. Hi-
This recipe sounds amazing and I want to try it. I have to start the instapot and then leave for 1.5 hours. Do you think the potatoes would survive the time on warming setting or do you think they would turn to mush?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Maggie,
I probably would turn the instant pot off for that period of time. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  25. This is another great recipe. I made it last weekend and had to substitute spicy Italian ground sausage because the markets in the small town we just moved to don’t have any spicy chicken sausage. I’ll buy some and freeze next time I visit the city. I also substituted spinach for kale.
It was a big hit. Easy recipe to make that tastes very good! Thanks and keep them coming.

    1. Hey David,
Awesome!! Love to hear that this recipe was enjoyed, thanks a bunch for giving it a try! Have a great weekend:) xTieghan

  26. Hi Tieghan,
I live in a small town and can’t access spicy Italian chicken sausages, what can I use instead to make sure there plenty of flavour?

    1. Hey Angela,
You could just use spicy Italian sausage as opposed to the chicken sausage. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

  27. 5 stars
Wow! Yet another delightful recipe!! I’ve been making all your recipes this week (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed) and every single one has been incredible!! This soup is amazing!! I followed it to a T minus the kale and subbed spinach because that’s all I had. I can’t wait to make this recipe at the next fall potluck! You are so incredibly talented! 🙂 I’m excited to go to bed tonight just so I can get to lunch faster tomorrow and eat the leftovers!!

  28. 5 stars
Delicious and simple. My 18 month old loves it too! It comes together quickly considering how tasty it is. It’s super filling and the perfect fall day lunch!

  29. 5 stars
Delicious! I had Andouille sausage so that is what I used. Sliced it and sautéed it in a bit of olive oil then drained it of excess oil. Maybe it was the craving for something evocative of Fall but I thought every bite of this was perfect. I did add a piece of Parmesan rind to the soup while it cooked. It adds great depth and flavor. I also used half and half and cut the amount to 1/2 a cup. Again, perfect.

    1. Hey Michelle,
Fantastic!! So great to hear that you enjoyed this recipe and thanks a lot for making it. Have a great week!🍂 xTieghan

    1. Hey Katie,
Thanks a bunch for trying out this recipe, I am delighted to hear that it was enjoyed! Have the best day:) xTieghan

Made this tonight and it was very delicious! I doubled it and added a bit more celery just to use up what I had. Made it on the stove and had to use small diced Italian chicken sausage instead of ground but it was still great. My kids loved it!

        1. Hey Angela,
Happy Friday!! I so appreciate you giving this recipe a try, I love to hear that it was enjoyed!! xTieghan

    2. 5 stars
Amazing! Simple and a must make, we have tried many variations of Zuppa Toscana soup and this hands down our new favorite!!

  30. Can you substitute cream or milk with coconut milk instead? Or are there any other low fat milk substitutions you would recommend?

    1. Hey Christina,
Yes, coconut milk would work well for you here. I hope the recipe turns out amazing for you, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

    1. Hey Michelle,
Sure, sweet potatoes would also work well here! I hope you love this recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

Made this for dinner with homemade bread. So easy and delicious. It was super yummy leftover as well! Will definitely make this again!

We made and enjoyed this many times throughout the fall and winter last year and I just couldn’t wait any longer this year to make it! It’s a beautiful sunny day where I am and we are headed to the beach tomorrow but tonight is soup night!

I have a hard time finding chicken sausages so just use Italian pork, but I’m always sure to drain the leftover oil to prevent an overly oily soup.

This soup is hearty, healthy, flavourful and divine. A MUST MAKE!!,

    1. Hey Allison,
Awesome! I am so glad to hear that this recipe was enjoyed, thanks for making it! Have the best weekend! xTieghan

    1. Hey Kat,
Totally fine to omit the bacon. I hope you love this recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

    1. Hey Chelsea,
Coconut milk will work well here. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

Love this recipe! I ommited the pesto (just because I didn’t have any). I’ve tried it twice, once on the stove top and now once in the instantpot. I used a 6qt instant pot and it absolutely did not fit, so it was kinda a fail. I think a 8qt was used. Otherwise, it was great!

    1. Hey Ayesha,
Sorry, I am not familiar with keto so I can’t quite say. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

  33. I am obsessed with this soup! I make it all the time because it’s that delicious!! I’d love to know if you have a basil pesto recipe of your own?

    1. Hey Shaunna,
I am so glad you have been enjoying this recipe! I do have a basil pesto recipe located in the HBH Super Simple Cookbook. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

    1. Hey Dani,
This will freeze just fine for you. I hope you enjoy the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

I’ve made this one for the second time tonight and after more than a year (of the pandemic) making lots and lots of HBH recipes, this one just may be my favorite. I don’t really like sausage. Or Kale, for that matter. But this soup is so, so, so delicious. The combination of flavors are…yum. I don’t have the vocab to describe how much I like this soup, but it’s really that good. It was perfect for a blustery, snow/rain mix April day.

    1. Hey Tatum,
Thanks so much for giving this recipe a try, I am delighted that it was enjoyed! Have a fantastic week! xTieghan

    1. Hey Callie,
So so glad this recipe was enjoyed, thanks a bunch for giving it a try! Happy Sunday:) xTieghan

  35. 5 stars
This was INCREDIBLE! I thought this was going to be just okay because come on it’s soup, there’s kale, you know. But no!! I could have taken a straw to the pot! It was amazing!! This will be something I make all the time! Thank you!!

  36. 5 stars
I have made this several times now and it’s delicious every time. So easy and I’ve made it for my extended family and they loved it too! I normally don’t like stews/ soups but this is so delicious.

  37. This was absolutely delicious. Will certainly make this again and I shared this on my FB page❤️

    1. Hey Jean,
I am thrilled to hear this recipe was enjoyed. Thanks so much for giving it a try. Have a great week! xTieghan

  38. 5 stars
Made this in the slow cooker yesterday, and oh.my.goodness! So delicious!! I used mild Italian sausage because that’s what I had and forgot to add the bacon, but it was still amazing. Perfect for a cold, stormy day. And leftovers today were even better.

    1. Hey Marcie,
Thanks a lot for giving the recipe a try, I am thrilled that the recipe was enjoyed! Have a fantastic weekend! xTieghan

  39. 5 stars
Delicious! I made it w/ store bought pesto the first time and didn’t drain the meat, I found it to be too oily, but it was still very good. I made it with the homemade pesto the next time, using a bit less oil and drained the turkey sausage (closet to chicken my grocer had) and was delicious! I love this recipe! So good!

    1. Hey Jazzlyn,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try, I am thrilled that it was enjoyed! Happy Valentine’s Day❤️ xTieghan

One of our favorite dishes! It’s soooo good! I like the fresh TJ vegan pesto. It’s a lighter less oily pesto.

  41. 5 stars
Umm… WOW! I made this as my first attempt using the Instant Pot (if you don’t count the water test! 😆) and it was INCREDIBLE. All I was hoping for was a recipe similar to the Olive Garden soup but this was such a home run on flavor and texture that even my 5 kiddos said they only want to have this homemade version from now on! As you can tell, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result! Thanks for the new gem of recipe in our house! ♥️

    1. Hey Heidi,
I think a salad and bread would be fantastic! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know how it turns out! xTieghan

  42. 5 stars
Such an amazing recipe! I love the tang from the lemon and the pesto adds so much flavor! It’s also quick and easy in the Instant Pot. I couldn’t ask for more. Delicious!

    1. Hey Tara,
I am so glad this recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! Have the best week. xTieghan

I just love this soup! It’s interesting and flavorful and different – not to mention easy! I just make the stove top version!

  44. 5 stars
This soup is easy to make and delicious! I’ve made it several times and it turns out consistently perfect each time.

What makes the red color in this recipe?? Following it to the tea currently and it’s not red color at all

    1. Hey Cheryl,
So sorry I am not sure what red color you are seeing, but my soup is not red either:) I hope you love the recipe!! xTieghan

  46. 5 stars
Absolutely delicious!!! Everyone in my family loved it. I used spinach instead of kale and I used vegetarian meat alternatives, it was fabulous! I will definitely e making this again!

    1. Hey Lisa,
I am thrilled that you liked the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a go! Have an awesome week:) xTieghan

  47. Made this soup tonight and it’s absolutely delicious!

I think I may have messed up a bit on the broth addition however as it’s veeeery salty. I didn’t have liquid broth so I added 6 cups of Knorr stock/bouillon (3 cubes) and am now thinking this was overkill. I added some extra milk to cut it a bit but do you know if there’s a better ratio to use for next time, maybe 4 cups of stock and 2 cups of water instead? Or am I better off just going and buying broth?

    1. Hey ALi,
So sorry I have only tested this recipe with broth, next time I would just follow the recipe as is:) I hope this helps!! xTieghan

  48. 5 stars
We have made this recipe time and again, and it is always fantastic. Deemed favorite soup ever by my boyfriend! We have liked using yellow gold potatoes more than russet ones. Be sure also not to overcook the potatoes, so that the broth does not become too starchy/potato soup like! It makes a big batch, so sometimes we will bring it to friends or coworkers. Thanks so much for this!!

    1. Hey Sasheen,
You could omit the milk in this recipe. I hope you love the soup, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  49. 4 stars
The flavor of this was incredible, but I have to say, I’m also deducting a star like previous reviewers based on time. The chopping alone takes 25-30 minutes…then the cook time is about another 40-45 when all is said and done. I would suggest altering the details of this recipe, as I followed it to a T. I used Trader Joe’s spicy turkey sausage which are links, and the soup turned out just fine. Other than that, a success! Looking forward to leftovers!

  50. 5 stars
BRAVO!! We love this soup!! It’s a super fast, dump style soup for week nights. The soup is delicious! And look, Ma, no beans!!
Since we don’t cook with white potatoes, we substituted sweet potatoes and this one’s a keeper!
    Thank you, Tieghen, again!!

    1. Hey there,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try, I am thrilled it was a hit! Happy New Year! xTieghan

    1. Hey Veronica,
I get my chicken sausage from Whole Foods. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! Happy New Year! xTieghan

    1. Hey Allison,
You can skip the lemon juice. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! Happy Holidays! xTieghan

Made this for my birthday dinner (alongside shaved brussel sprout salad with pomegranate and warm apple cider vinaigrette). Everyone LOVED it! The soup had quite a bit of heat with the red pepper flakes AND the spicy sausage, but honestly I think my fiance just has a heavy hand with seasonings (ha!). My brother came back for leftovers two days in a row – and that never happens!

  52. 5 stars
This was SO delicious. I couldn’t find chicken sausage so I used pork sausage. Otherwise followed the recipe. Perfect fall or winter day soup! I tried to hide all the leftovers for myself so that my husband couldn’t get to them. This will definitely become a staple. Thank you!

    1. Hey Melissa,
Yes, that would work well! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  53. 5 stars
I just made this tonight in the Instant Pot, it was EXCELLENT! I used spicy Italian pork sausage because that’s all I could find, and the soup was so flavorful. Perfect with a crusty roll on the side.

  54. 5 stars
I found this recipe when I was looking for something to do with leftover kale. Boy, am I glad I didn’t feed the leftover greens to the chickens! This soup has become a weekly tradition. Next day leftovers are even better after all the flavors have had even longer to meld. The best thing is it gives my family the illusion that I’m a great cook, haha! As a matter of fact, all of your recipes I’ve tried so far have done just that! Thank you!!

  55. We had this last night and LOVED it. I’m about to have a baby and would like to freeze some for next month, if possible. Do you have any recommendations about that? Would it freeze well? Thanks!

    1. Hey Lisa,
I am so glad you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for giving it a try! I think this would be fine to freeze:) xTieghan

This is so good!! I modified a bit. Used vegan sausage, vegan pesto, no bacon and I didn’t add cream and it has so much flavor! Nutritional yeast for Parmesan. I’m newly plant based but I thought this recipe even with all the substitutions was just as good as normal soup 😌

  57. Delicioso!, easy and quick, loved using the Instant Pot (first time!) Ready to try more of your fabulous recipes! Thanks for sharing ❣️

  58. The cook time is drastically off. This took more like 15 min of prep and 30 min of cook time for 45 min total. Just wanted to be clear for anyone trying to whip up an instant pot recipe after work.

  59. 5 stars
So Good! I’ve made this soup with a different recipe for years and decided to try this one. This one is so much better, easier, and flavorful!

    1. Hey Clare,
I would say 3-4 days. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions. Happy Thanksgiving! xTieghan

Delicious! I had to chop up some sausage links for this, worked great. We thought this was better than from a restaurant!

  61. I made this in the slow cooker – made deliveries to friends and family and received rave reviews from all ages, 8-80yrs old! I followed the recipe exactly. Love the pop of thyme added at the end. It was so warming and delicious. Thank you!

  62. Do you think it’s ok to use already cooked spicy Italian chicken sausage and just chop it up? Accidentally bought that at the store instead of ground!

  63. 5 stars
Wow! Just WOW! This soup was soooooo good! We eat a lot of soup because we are skiers and when we come in for lunch, I like to have a hearty soup. This sure fits the bill. We all loved it, even my 12 year old! This will be on regular rotation this winter. I made it exactly as per your recipe in the IP so it was easy, quick AND delicious! Thank you for another awesome recipe.

  64. 5 stars
Just yum!!! This recipe is such a warm and cozy treat!! I made it in the slow cooker because I don’t own an instant pot. The house smelled amazing all day. I used a greens mix of spinach, chard and kale and skipped the celery because I didn’t have any. I will def make this again!! Thank you!

  65. My Daughter has made a couple of your soups to great raves now and I am so excited to try them! She just made this one, and my question is can I freeze this? and at what point? Before the cream and kale are added? Or is it ok to freeze cream?
    Thanks

    1. Hey Jill,
I would freeze before adding the cream and kale. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

I love Zuppa Toscana but this was by FAR my favorite version! The pesto and lemon brought a perfect fresh zing 😀 This will definitely be my new go to recipe. Thank you!

  67. 5 stars
So delicious! The flavors worked together perfectly- the salty bacon, cream, crunchy celery and parm- yum! Another 5-star winner to add to my rotation. Thank you!

  68. 5 stars
This soup was fabulous! Was so easy to make in the instant pot. I used coconut milk instead of heavy cream and it worked great. I would highly recommend this recipe for a great comfort food. Thank You!

  69. 5 stars
We are loving your soups. I made this last night (had to substitute spinach for kale, red potatoes for Yukon, and pecorino Romano for parmesan – I discovered years ago that I preferred the hearty stronger Romano and have used it almost exclusively ever since).
My only caution would be to wait in adding salt. I used less than a teaspoon but the end product was very salty (Sausage, cheese, stock??). I added a bit more cream & water to “cut” the salt and extend the quantity.
you are inspiring me to finally use my 3 year old Instantpot and I am transformed!
PS can script in comments be enlarged or made “bold”. Even with transition lenses it is very difficult for these 65 year old eyes to see.

    1. Hi Claudia! I am really glad this recipe turned out so well for you! Thank you for trying this recipe! I will look into helping you with the comments! xTieghan

I’ve wanted to try this recipe of yours for a while, finally made it in my instant pot last night and loved it!

  71. 5 stars
I’m a 62 year old foodie. It take something exceptional to make me this excited and this recipe delivers! The perfect balance of the creamy pesto with the spicy, citrus elements is perfection. ❤️

  72. 5 stars
This was delicious. I liked the addition of the pesto sauce. And having an instant pot recipe made this so easy to whip up. Thank you!

  73. 5 stars
Very, very nice recipe. The flavors worked so well together, the proportions were right on, and it was easy!
Thank you for inspiring me to cook with your wonderful photography and informative videos!

  74. 5 stars
Made it on the stove top and it was delicious! I don’t like bacon and had some gifted duck fat, so I used that instead. I also omitted the Parmesan for my stomach’s sake. Even with the changes I made it was so flavorful, comforting, and still light. Will definitely make this again. Thanks for sharing!

  75. 5 stars
This soup was fantastic! Kids and adults alike all loved it, and it will be a regular here! Thank you for such wonderful recipes!

  76. 5 stars
I am a forever follower! I search your recipes daily! I made this tonight for my in-laws and husband and it was a complete success! Everyone raved about it. Thank you. I followed the recipe exactly! I wouldn’t change a thing.

  77. 5 stars
I struggle to find soups that feel filling and this one was great! Thanks to the comments, I left out the meat and used sundried tomatoes, and replaced the cream with coconut milk. It was a bit salty so I may use 4 cups veg stock to 2 cups water next time, but it’s still delicious and easily adapted.

    1. Hey Ashley,
I get mine at Whole Foods, next time try asking the butcher for some help! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  78. 5 stars
This is so yum! Hubby dislikes kale, so I chopped celery leaves (1/4 cup) to add the green. Also upped the bacon – a hubby request . . . so needed zero salt. An absolute keeper!

  79. 5 stars
This was a hit! Made it for my weekly dinner night for the boys. Almost doubled everything…subbed coconut milk for heavy cream because I had it on hand. Sooo good. Also used hot Italian pork sausage instead because the store didn’t have chicken sausage.

    1. Hey Sofia,
I like to use Yukon potatoes. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  80. 5 stars
LOVED this recipe – added a little bit of fresh butternut squash purée and sage, too! Perfect with a thick slice of bread. Thanks for creating and sharing.

  81. Hi Tieghan!
We don’t have celery so would you recommend using carrots or bell peppers to substitute for that?
    Thanks so much!

    1. Hey Jenny,
I would use carrots. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  82. Hi Tieghan! This looks so good, I wanted to try adding white beans to this recipe. What do you think about that addition and at what point in the recipe would you add them? Thanks! 🙂

    1. Hey Claudia,
I think beans would work well here, I would add them with the potatoes. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  83. My local store does not carry spicy Italian sausage. Would you sub reg Italian sausage and increase the red pepper flakes?

    1. Hey Lindsay,
Yes, that would work just fine:) I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  84. We made this for dinner tonight. It was delicious and easy to make. I used pork as I couldn’t find chicken and threw in a bit of penne for our toddler. It was delish, I never would have thought about putting pesto in soup. I would recommend this.

  85. This was amazing!!!! I am loving all of your soup recipes for fall and winter (even though its a random 75 degrees today!). This one was so hearty and delicious! I wasn’t much of a cook when I was younger, but I have developed a liking for it in the last few years. Your recipes make great cooking easy! Thank you!

    1. You are so kind! I am really glad you have been loving this and other recipes of mine, Liz! Thank you so much! xTieghan

  86. 5 stars
I just made this for my boyfriend for his birthday. We both LOVE it! it was perfect for the weather, it’s cold and rainy. I also gave some to my housemate and she also said it tastes very good. 🙂

  87. Hi Tieghan. This may be a silly questions, but would it be ok to use ground chicken or turkey instead of sausage meat? I’ve never been able to find chicken sausage at my grocery store. Thanks!

    1. Hey Lisa,
Yes, either of those would work as well as ground sausage. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  88. 5 stars
Best soup I’ve ever made in my 50+ years on this planet!! Make it. You won’t regret it. Well done, Tieghan. Thank you for making my soup season complete! ❤️

  89. 5 stars
So delicious! Currently eating leftovers for lunch and it’s still just as good, if not better. I’ve made other zuppa toscana recipes and I love the addition of lemon juice and pesto in this one! Used sweet italian cgicken sausage pinks and just sliced them and added extra red pepper flakes… so good!

  90. 5 stars
This soup is so delicious!!! A perfect recipe for the fall and winter. I replaced the chicken sausage with regular Italian sausage (it’s all I could find) and replaced the potato with butternut squash. It’s super comforting, warm, slightly spicy… and even a kale hater loved it. I think this recipe is very adaptable and you could probably add in tons more vegetables if you wanted.

  91. 5 stars
Made this with the stove top method tonight and it was delicious! Didn’t have kale so I used fresh spinach and it turned out great.

  92. Do you have complete nutrition info? I am making this for dinner and have one diabetic child. Always nice to have the nutrition info so I dont have to guess it. Thanks

    1. Hi Diana! I am sorry, but I do not have the nutritional information for this recipe. I find it easiest to put all of the ingredients into an online food calculator! I hope you love this recipe! xTieghan

  93. 5 stars
Very good I put my own spin on it some I used loose Italian sausage, and at the end added some cheese tortellini
And I did the stovetop method

  94. 5 stars
Loved this recipe! You were the cook, blogger, recipe creator of our cooking club and all recipes made were well loved. The questions for this recipe are about subbing coconut milk and or beans instead of potatoes, any thoughts or recommendations ifattempted? ?

    1. Hey Robin,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try! I think these subs would be great, just add them in as directed. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  95. 5 stars
    SO. FREAKING. TASTY.
This is the perfect comfort soup, and SO easy to make. I thought this would take way more time than it did, thanks to the Instant Pot. Once again, Tieghan hit it out of the park! She’s the only person I get my recipes from, and for good reason. So glad I can add this to my stash, and always ready to make another batch of this. GO MAKE THIS NOW.

    1. Aw this was so sweet to read! I am really happy this turned out so well for you, Gentry! I hope you continue to love my recipes! xTieghan

  96. Tieghan,
This looks AWESOME! My mouth is watering!! What size Instapot are you using? (Is this the standard size you use for all your soup recipes?)
It is not snowing here but this is the second day of a cold, drizzly rain and this sounds like it was created for today!
You are inspirational and your blogs are so welcoming – I can’t wait to get in the kitchen! Thank you! Pat

  97. 5 stars
This recipe was amazing! And very easy! There are so many delicious flavors going on in this recipe, and the cream brings it to another level! Will definitely make this again…I highly recommend it!

  98. Just made this for lunch! It is ammmmmmaaaaazing! So tasty 😋 your recipes are the best. We also had your crockpot chicken pad Thai this week, so delish I wanted to just drink the sauce hahaah

  99. 5 stars
Absolutely love this soup! I’m not a huge potato and sausage soup fan, but I have loved every recipe from Tieghan so I figured I’d try it out. Did the instant pot method and it was so easy and was just the coziest tastiest soup! My toddlers loved it too and slurped up the broth the most! Had fresh sourdough bread on the side to dip, perfect!

    1. Hey Alysssa,
That will be totally fine as is with the Italian sausage! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  100. Oh wow, I just found this recipe…adding it to my grocery list now and making it for dinner! Thank you for including stove top instructions since I don’t have an instant pot right now!

  101. 5 stars
So so yummy! Even my toddler are this soup – including the kale!! I was so impressed. Tastes even better on day two. Will definitely be a repeat recipe in our house.

  102. 5 stars
My favorite half baked harvest recipe that I’ve made. Kinda hard to screw up and loads of flavor! My Kale had gone bad so if you’re missing some greens, trust me. IT WILL BE DELICIOUS, REGARDLESS! 🙂

    1. Heck ya! I am really glad you have been loving this recipe and I hope you continue to enjoy others! Thank you Naraly! xTieghan

  103. 5 stars
This was the first HBH recipe I made, and I made it twice. Did it on stovetop instead. First time with ground beef (that’s what I had) but added Italian sausage type spices to it. Second time as written. Man, it was good.

  104. 5 stars
The best zuppa I’ve ever had. I’ve made The traditional recipe for years but this one definitely takes the cake. I love the addition of pesto and lemon. Thank you so much for sharing.

    1. Hey Michelle! Yes, this freezes wonderfully!! I like to add the bacon after freezing for topping. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you!! xTieghan

  105. 5 stars
I’ve been looking for great soup recipes online and have tried many. Just found the best one yet!! It is restaurant quality and full of great flavor. Thank you SO much. I’ll be making this again and again.

  106. 5 stars
Fourth time making this soup and it never ever disappoints. Just got hit with a major snowstorm and there’s nothing better than this soup to fill in a comfort food. Switched out the kale for spinach this time, just reduced the cooking time and tastes just as good. Will try coconut milk as a dairy substitute next time.. thanks for an awesome recipe!!

    1. Thank you Florence! I am so glad this recipe turned out so well for you! Thank you for trying it! xTieghan

Currenty eating this soup for lunch, day three, and still not tired of it. This is really a delicious fulfilling meal. I’ve now made it twice, and some tips I found were: dice the potatos a bit bigger unless you want them to dissolve into the broth (not bad either way but the second time when we diced them larger we got the texture of the potato which has been nice), do shred the kale a bit smaller unless you want large kale blobs. I added an extra 2 tblespoons pesto because its just a food group for me at this point, and i felt like that was a great flavor enhancement. Also added an extra 1/4 cup Parmesan. Couldn’t find spicy italian chicken sausage, so we used mild – just supplemented probably an extra tsp of red pepper flakes to supplement.

I’ve made it with both heavy cream and whole milk – personally preferred the whole milk, it was a bit thinner overall. Loved this!!!

  108. 5 stars
OH MY GOODNESS. I made a half batch of this last night & it turned out amazing! So satisfying & flavorful & with minimum effort, even doing it the stovetop way as I did. Thanks for a lovely recipe!

  109. Could you freeze this soup? I want to make it for a friend and her family but I want to make a double batch so she can freeze the 2nd batch 🙂
    Thanks!

  110. 5 stars
This soup is unbelivably delicious. For anyone interested, it freezes really well. I make the recipe exactly as written except we use bone broth. Since its just my husband and I, we eat half for dinner, save enough for lunch the next day then freeze the rest in quart containers. Even more amazing when reheated. Thanks so much for the recipe, I make a lot of your recipes and have enjoyed all of them!

  111. 4 stars
Super tasty but the basil pesto made it super oily. It took me forever to skim all the oil off the top before serving. Once that was done my kiddos gobbled it up!

  112. This looks delicious but I have an allergy to the protein, caesin, in dairy. What could I use to substitute the heavy cream? I have a non-dairy cheese to sub for the asiago. I’m wondering if coconut cream would change the flavor too much.

    1. Hi Kim! I would recommend using canned full fat coconut milk. That works wonderfully! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you!! xTieghan

  113. 5 stars
Amazing! I just found your website and I am thrilled and anxious to try this out for my hubby and I tonight. Only one question and forgive me if you already answered…
I have a 3qt Instant pot. Do I cut the recipe in half?
Thank you so much for sharing!

    1. Hi Rita! Yes, I would cut the recipe in half. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you!! xTieghan

  114. 5 stars
This was a critical success. Everyone loved it and the leftovers I was counting on for my lunch turned into a bedtime snack for my son. The flavours are so satisfying and the lemon is delicious. I used mild Italian sausage as I had it on hand.

  115. 5 stars
I have made this several times and it is a favorite in our house. I’ve only tried the stove top version and it turns out perfect every time. Thank you for another awesome recipe!

  116. 5 stars
5 Star recipe in our house! It was my first attempt at the instant pot and I could not be happier. The flavor is amazing in this recipe. It makes a large portion and I am not a left over person but I could ate it for a couple days after and never got sick of it.

    1. Hi Laura! Yes, this freezes very well! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! xTieghan

  117. 5 stars
Just made this and it is perfect! I saw the comment below about adding sun dried tomatoes as a substitute for meat and loved the idea of having them in this soup, so I added them in addition to the bacon and sausage! I also threw the parmesan rinds in for the simmering process. Thank you for another great recipe, I have your cookbooks and make at least one or two each week!
    Much love from Georgia <3

    1. Thank you so much Amanda! I am really glad you have been enjoying my recipes and books! I hope you continue to! xTieghan

  118. 5 stars
We made the stove top version this evening, and it was so simple! Layered with flavor and very easy to make. Well worthwhile! The lemon juice brightens the soup perfectly and really enhances all the flavors here.

  119. 5 stars
This was so good! Every recipe I have made from you has been a hit with my family. Thank you for making cooking so enjoyable!

    1. HI! I recommend adding 1 teaspoon smoked paprika and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! xTieghan

    1. HI! Yes, add the kale when reheating. That will be great! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you and Happy New Year! xTieghan

Made this tonight. OMG so good!! The sauce is divine. The entire family loved it – will add to our regular rotation. Another great meal from your site. Thanks!

  121. Metric/weight measurements please. Pretty please. The only reason I can’t love Half Baked Harvest blog and books.

  122. 5 stars
Made this recipe as my first time ever using an Instant Pot. Amazing recipe! It came out soooo delicious and the directions were easy to follow for an instant pot newbie. Since I have the Instant Pot Ultra Mini, I halved the recipe to make sure it fit. Since it came out so amazingly, I am making it again tonight with the other half of my leftover ingredients!! Can’t wait to try more Half Baked Harvest recipes!

    1. I am so glad this turned out so well for you Kate! Thank you so much! Also, I hope you love some other recipes of mine! xTieghan

  123. 4 stars
Love this recipe so much! I used lighter milk to keep it a bit healthier and also used ground spicy pork (we didn’t have spicy ground chicken here where I am in Canada). The pesto and the lemon make this such a different version, definitely going to be on a weekly rotation. Also love that you have so many instant pot recipes lately.

  124. 5 stars
This is an excellent recipe. Very easy to make! Just recommend chopping everything before you start the instant pot.

    1. Hi Alex, this will serve 4-6. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I am glad you love this recipe! Thank you and happy holidays! xTieghan

  125. 5 stars
This was amazing!! I made it with the coconut milk and it was a good alternative to the heavy cream. And I may have addd too much basil pesto.. but is that even possible?! Such a good addition for extra flavour! Such good comfort food to have on a snowy day. Thank you, thank you!!

  126. 5 stars
This soup was so good last night! My kids (5 &8) loved it and had thirds!
Your recipes continue to wow me and my family! Thank you! I can’t wait to try more!

  127. Would you be able to double the recipe and still make it in a 6 qt IP? I’m guessing no… But I’d love to have this to eat all week!

    1. HI!! I don’t recommend doubling the recipe. I think it would overflow in your instant pot. I would instead make 2 batches, keeping one on the stove after cooking while you make the other batch. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you and happy holidays! xTieghan

  128. 5 stars
This soup is AMAZING. The flavors are so delicious and honestly even better and more flavorful the next day! I’ll definitely be making this again and again. Also, I made it on the stovetop rather than Instant Pot just because I was in the mood to cook-cook but I love that you give three different options!!

  129. This was so good! My husband is raving about it! I love that I was able to use the Sauté feature on the Instant Pot as well! Such a great meal!

  130. I am dying to make this!! I have an 8qt Instant Pot. Do you think I could double this recipe to make for a larger crowd?

    1. Hey Gretchen, I don’t recommend double the recipe. I think it would overflow in your instant pot. I would instead make 2 batches, keeping one on the stove after cooking while you make the other batch. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you and happy holidays! xTieghan

    1. Hi Maggie, I would use parsnips. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you and happy holidays! xTieghan

  131. 5 stars
I made this tonight. I added carrots but did everything else as recipe said. Absolutely delicious. My husband had two bowls of it. I am going to use this as one of my Christmas Eve soups this year. A real winner!

  132. 5 stars
MAKE THIS SOUP!!! Seriously, you won’t be sorry you did. I am a huge fan of normal Zuppa Toscana. It’s a winter staple in our house. But HOLY MOLY. This soup is on a whole other level. Between my mom, sister and I…this soup has been made 4 times in the span of one week. It’s that good y’all!

  133. 4 stars
Taste was great. It took me more like an hour to make this. Not 30 min so deducting a star. My whole family liked it.

  134. 5 stars
Tieghan this soup is the bomb!!! Made it via Instant Pot ~ so flavorful! I did not peel the Yukon Gold potatoes ~ no impact at all.
I would use a bit more crushed pepper next time.
The 2 unique flavor bombs are definitely the lemon juice and pesto!!
Thank you for always inspiring me! BTW it’s snowing here in New England – perfect for this soup!

    1. HI! I am sure shredded chicken will be great! I would add a touch more pesto + crushed red pepper flakes to make up for the lost flavor from the sausage. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you and happy holidays! xTieghan

  135. 5 stars
WOW this soup was SO GOOD and so easy!! I took it over to a friend’s house for dinner and 4 of us ate the entire pot! I made it again the next day so we can have it for lunches! For anyone wondering, coconut milk works great for a dairy free option. I also made it without sausage the 2nd time as I had run out….just added a few more potatoes and a few carrots! Amazing!

  136. 5 stars
Wow! I just made this for dinner and it is sooo good! The lemon adds the perfect brightness and the pesto adds just a touch of Italian herby flavor. I accidentally only had brats but it still turned out amazing. Thank you!

  137. 5 stars
This soup is amazing! My 9yr old daughter had seconds and then brought leftovers to school for lunch the next day! The soup is so flavorful. I’ve made another version of zuppa toscana before, but the pesto and lemon in this version just make it that much better

  138. 5 stars
For anyone interested in making this soup a little lighter and lower carb, I replaced the potatoes with a head of cauliflower still delicious!! And just bought your cookbook for my Aunt for her bday, can’t wait to give it to her!

  139. 4 stars
This soup was SO good — my husband and i both loved it. But in the instant pot it literally took two hours from chopping to eating… no idea why it took so long, but that was super frusturating. Other than that it was DELISH!

  140. This recipe was perfect for dinner on a cold Wisconsin night! I made this for my family and everyone absolutely loved it! The flavors work so well together and everything is just so delicious. Definitely a new favorite!

  141. Would love to make this…however what would you recommend in terms of substituting Bacon and sausage..to make it vegetarian

    1. HI! You can simple just omit both from the recipe and use 1/2 cup roughly chopped sun-dried tomatoes instead. That will be delicious! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! xTieghan

  142. 5 stars
I made this over the weekend for guests and it was a huge success!!! Even my picky eater ate it without complaint! I also made the puffed pastry cranberry and brie pinwheels and the picky eater ate them all 🙂

  143. 5 stars
I made this using the stovetop directions last night and it was SO good. Probably the best soup I have ever made. I think the lemon juice kicked it up a notch which is not something I would normally think to add. Thank you for the yummy recipe!

  144. I was so confused about the potatoes. I wish I watched your video before I started. 4 small potatoes is like nothing. So I chopped a few more but I didn’t want to go over board, as to stay true to recipe. When I watched your video, you had tons of potatoes. I think you should reconsider what you have listed on the recipe.

    1. Hi Bridget! I stuck to 4 potatoes in the video..but they may have not been as small as yours! I would recommend adding to your liking! I hope you loved this recipe! xTieghan

    1. Hey Eddie! It just depends how many people you are serving. If you serve more than 6 people regular, get the 8qt. Otherwise the 6qt is great!! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! xTieghan

  145. Any thoughts on using spinach rather than kale. I know it shouldn’t be cooked as long. maybe just wilted?
    Thank you

    1. HI! Spinach will be delicious! Just add it and cook for 5 minutes or until just wilted. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! xTieghan

  146. 5 stars
This soup is fantastic! I used Italian chicken sausage because I am a wimp with the spice, but it is sooooo good. I will make it again when my Christmas visitors arrive! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  147. 5 stars
Tieghan, this looks absolutely amazing! My husband and I are making it tonight! However we don’t have an instant pot and are a little behind schedule so the slow cooker route may not work tonight. Could you give me a little guidance as to how to make this on the stove top? I’d appreciate that so much! Pumped to make it!

    -Arliss

  148. Looking to make this a bit more lighter…could I substitute 0% plain greek yogurt or low fat sour cream in place of heavy cream and still achieve the delicious creaminess?

    1. HI Amy! I fear the yogurt will curdle, but if you add towards the end it could be ok! Also, one reader recommended replacing the potatoes with a head of cauliflower for a lighter option. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! xTieghan

Another day in which i see your recipe in my inbox and make it that night! Perfect for a cold, snowy night. And fast! The broth was amazing. I think this can easily be made in crockpot or stove top as well, but would take more time (enough to cook the potatoes )

I made this last night and thought I had died and gone to heaven! I did not add the cream as I had someone who is lactose intolerant joining us and it made no difference in enjoyment. There were no complaints from anyone. Not even my mother who hates everything especially if she thinks I “got the recipe off that darn internet”.

  151. Hey Tieghan,
I love this soup and it seems so simple but like a holiday staple! Ah!! I’m mostly excited that I saw you’ve reached 1M followers on Instagram! Congratulations? As someone who’s business is built online, this is a huge deal. But of course, it doesn’t matter how many followers or likes you have— just as long as you remain yourself and have an incredible support system (which it seems like you do!).
Congratulations again and I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s post.

    1. Thank you so much Kristin! I am super happy that all of you continue to follow me an it blows my mind seeing that number! xTieghan

This soup was perfect for a cold, snowy evening like tonight! Amazing flavor! The bacon and pesto were a really nice touch. I’m looking forward to trying it again tomorrow after the flavors soak in even more. Thanks again!

  153. Hi Tieghan – this soup looks delish! Will it work to substitute canned coconut milk instead of the cream (to make it dairy-free)? And similarly would the pesto still work if I eliminate the parmesan?

    Thank you!

    1. Hi! Canned coconut milk will be great and yes the pesto works minus the cheese. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe! Thank you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! xTieghan

  154. Hi Tieghan – this looks delicious, but I too do not have an InstaPot. If it’s possible, is there any chance you could include either crockpot or stovetop instructions? I love making your soups in my beautiful Staub pot my husband gave me for Christmas last year!
