Switching up Thursday nights with these Folded Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wraps. Shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, herbs, lettuce, and a little cheddar cheese, all folded up in wraps, then pan-fried until warm and crispy. These easy wraps come together in minutes, they’re crunchy on the outside, and spicy and cheesy inside. Serve with the most deliciously creamy, jalapeño lime ranch, and additional buffalo sauce. Great for both lunch and dinner, but equally fun for game night too!

Look, I’m not usually one to jump on trends, especially a food trend, but this folded wrap thing that’s going around on TikTok? It’s basically a new form of a quesadilla…and it’s a pretty genius idea. Have you guys seen it? You just take a tortilla, divide up your fillings between the four quarters of the wrap, then fold it all together into a triangle.

Confused? Sorry, that probably makes no sense above, but if you look at my photos below, hopefully, you’ll understand. It is very easy!

Anyway, I’m not really on TikTok, though I probably should be, but when I saw this folded wrap concept, I instantly had the idea to create a buffalo chicken wrap. Instead of hesitating and second-guessing myself (like I always do), I just made a few to see how they might turn out. And you know, not only was it really easy to do, but it was fun. And the buffalo chicken filling sure is delicious.

So I decided I’d create the recipe here for you. Thank you TikTok for inspiring this one!

(the four corners of the wrap)

Aside from TikTok inspiring this recipe, I also drew some inspo from my younger brother, Red. He’s in town all month and he loves any food doused in a little buffalo sauce. Every time he’s here in Colorado, he begs me to make him buffalo cauliflower. It’s one of his favorite dinners.

I’m the biggest sucker when it comes to my brothers and the need to please them whenever they ask for food, especially Red. I just love when they’re excited to have me cook for them!

Since I knew Red would be around, I figured a buffalo chicken wrap was really the only way to go. It was the right move. My family devoured these. My dad said it’s all about the crispy tortillas, the cheese, and the sauces. Altogether…delicious!

Making these folded wraps is easy, here is how I do it…

First things first, start with the buffalo chicken. I shredded up a couple of chicken breasts and tossed them with homemade buffalo sauce, yogurt (for creaminess), and fresh herbs. Most buffalo chicken dip/fillings are made with cream cheese, but I wanted to make these wraps on the healthier side, so I swapped in yogurt. Worked just perfectly.

Once the filling is mixed, mix up a quick homemade ranch….but don’t make it your average ranch.

I used fresh cilantro and plenty of lime in place of the usual herb mix and stirred in some pickled jalapeños for a spicy, tangy kick. This is the perfect sauce to swirl into each wrap.

Now assemble.

I took a lot of photos so you could see how this is done, but guys it’s easy. You make a cut down the center of your tortillas, then add the chicken to one corner, and the greens to another corner, and finally the cheese to another. Fold it all up, then pan-fry.

So you’ve got….

One-quarter of buffalo chicken.

Another quarter wrap of greens n’ things.

A quarter full of ranch.

And finally a quarter full of cheese.

Fold it all up into one triangle.

overhead photo of Folded Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wraps

As the wraps cook, the cheese on the outer layer melts out a bit and the most magical thing happens. The cheese melts onto the skillet and becomes crispy and almost fried. It’s really good.

And then, everything else cooks together into a wrap that’s crispy on the outside, but cheesy and saucy inside.

The verdict? Red said he probably likes these more than buffalo chicken. They’re a mix of two of his favorite foods, buffalo chicken and quesadillas, so naturally, he loved these. As did everyone else. They’re pretty hard to beat.

Nothing fancy, just really delicious food. Excited to have this recipe on hand for an easy dinner. It’s just one of those meals that everyone loves!

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce (homemade sauce in notes)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 4 large (burrito size) whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1-2 jalapeño or poblano pepper, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • olive oil, for cooking

Jalapeño Ranch

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños chopped + 2 tablespoons brine
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • 1. In a bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, buffalo sauce, chives, parsley, and dill.
    2.  To make the ranch. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
    3. To assemble, cut down from the center of the tortilla to the edge (see above photo). Spread the chicken in the bottom left corner, then add a handful of the lettuce, jalapeño/poblano pepper, and green onions on the top left corner. Spread the ranch on the top right corner, and the cheese on the bottom right corner (see photos for visuals). Fold the buffalo chicken over the lettuce. Then, working clock-wise, folding that quarter over the ranch. And finally, fold that quarter over the cheese.
    4. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet, add 1 wrap and cook 2-3 minutes per side until crisp and golden brown. Serve warm with extra buffalo sauce, ranch, and lettuce.

Notes

Buffalo Sauce: Mix 1/2 hot sauce, 1/2 cup olive oil or melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon smoked, paprika, and a 1/2 teaspoon each onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Tortillas: I love to use Siete Foods Grain Free Burrito Size Tortillas and their smaller Grain Free Tortillas. You can get these at Whole Foods or order online. I also love the Whole Foods brand whole wheat tortillas.

Made these tonight and everyone loved them! Please edit your buffalo sauce recipe to show 1/2 cup hot sauce.

    1. Hi Nancy,
Happy Friday!! Thanks a lot for giving this recipe a go, I love to hear that it was enjoyed! xxTieghan

Thanks for another great recipe! So much flavor in the homemade Buffalo sauce and Jalapeño ranch dressing! Really delicious! The folding was easy with the pictures. Next time, I’ll try doing these on a large flat griddle with vegetable oil instead of olive oil. First batch was perfectly golden and crunchy but 2nd batch the olive oil got a little too hot.

These are fantastic! Already shared the recipe with 4 of my friends. Switched the chicken and ranch corners so the chicken and cheese would be the sides touching the pan. Thank you for the great recipe

My family absolutely LOVES this recipe. We usually eat it by itself, but do you have any suggestions for sides to go with it?

    1. Hey Lindsey,
I really appreciate you giving the recipe a try, so glad to hear that it was enjoyed! My family likes these by themselves too, but I think a big salad would be a great side! Have a great week! xxT

We loved this recipe-the buffalo chicken/ranch mix was hard to stay out of while assembling the tortillas-SO good! Thanks Tieghan for another winning recipe! 🙂

        1. Hi there,
I like to use Frank’s red hot! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

    1. Hi- huge fan from CO. Obsessed with this recipe!! We made extra jalapeño ranch dressing bc it was so good. How long can it last in the fridge?

      1. Hi Britt,
Thanks so much for trying the recipe! I would say 2 weeks in the fridge. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

SO GOOD! We used the Primal Kitchen Buffalo sauce and cooked the chicken in the crockpot all day, which I highly recommend if not in the mood to make your own and want to cut down on time. Such a good combination of flavors and textures. Highly recommend! Makes for an easy weeknight meal.

      1. 5 stars
Omg this recipe is amazing! I used a pre-made ranch to cut down on time, but will definitely be making it from scratch next go around. Love love love!!!

        1. Hi Trisha,
I really appreciate you giving the recipe a try, so glad to hear that it was enjoyed! Have a great week! xxT

Great recipe, so yummy. Didn’t know what “hot sauce” the recipe was referring to so we used Sriracha and substituted garlic sautéed kale for the romaine. Probably will use Frank’s next time for more of a Buffalo taste. All round delicious meal. Thanks!

        1. Hi Thom,
Wonderful! I really appreciate you giving this recipe a try, I love to hear that it was enjoyed!! Yes, I used Frank’s. xTieghan

These were so good, so many robust flavors and textures! After just a few bites, my husband commented these need to be made regularly. Couldn’t agree more!

Made this for dinner and tweaked it as I was missing some of the ingredients but omg SO GOOD. So good, I want to make it again for lunch tomorrow. I mixed iceberg lettuce, cilantro and green onions and that made it, as well as the homemade Buffalo sauce 👌🏽 Love your recipes, I have not found one I didn’t love!

  8. 5 stars
Made these on Tuesday – my husband had two, I had one. Then Wednesday I had one for lunch, and today I just mixed up the leftovers and ate them cold without a wrap. EVERY TIME it was DELICIOUS!! I love the yogurt instead of cream cheese or any other high fat ingredients – the mix of flavors and textures makes this outstanding. No changes made, no changes suggested! Thanks, this is a keeper!

  9. 5 stars
This recipe was amazing. I have never left a review for anything before, but had to for these. They were so delicious that I could eat them for every meal!

  10. 5 stars
So good! Followed almost exactly as is except for using a bagged Tex mex shredded cheese in place of the two types of cheese. Has a great kick to it. Will make again for sure!

One of the best things I’ve made in a while! I loved the extras in the salad and the green onion really shined through. I ended up replacing the ranch with an avocado-cilantro dip that I needed to use up, but can’t wait to your sauce next time. Using the leftover buffalo sauce to make buffalo cauliflower that I saw you posed on Instagram tonight. Thanks for all the inspo!

  12. Delicious! I probably stuffed them a little more than I should so they were as pretty as yours. Trying to stay on plan (you know, new year lol) so the nonfat Greek yogurt and low carb tortilla made this a good meal. One of these with baby carrots w/the jalapeño ranch to dip was filling and extremely satisfying!

  13. 5 stars
Excellent recipe. Most of the cheese melted onto the skillet. The next time I will make it with thinner layers and see what happens. Great flavor and unique tastes.

  14. Just made these, they’re awesome! I was doubtful about the folding, and about the flipping in the pan, but it all went well. Thanks, great recipe! Super yummy.

    1. Hi Jessie,
Awesome! Thanks so much for giving this recipe a try, I love to hear that it was enjoyed! xxTieghan

Made this recipe last night but cooked the chicken in the buffalo sauce and added the dill etc. into it as well and served it over rice. Well, the wows!! just kept coming! I have leftovers and looking forward to dinner this eve! 🙂

These were fantastic and so fun to make! My 14 year old son, who is not easy to please when it comes to meals, said, after two bites, “This is a make again! We need to have these every other week.” VERY high praise coming from him. Thank you for a delicious addition to our dinner rotation.

    Jan K

    1. Hi Jan,
Yes, I would just assemble them and then pan fry when you want to eat:) I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you give it a try! xTieghan

  19. Hi! I’m eager to try this and your homemade buffalo sauce. But I have a question, when you say hot sauce, are you referring to any hot sauce like Tabasco or something similar?

      1. I thought about that (because I actually have Franks Hot Sauce) but I also have Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce which is what I ultimately ended up using (without adding in the other seasonings).

Just made it tonight and it was amazing!!! Will definitely make again.

  20. 5 stars
Made this today and loved it! Didn’t have lettuce or pickled jalapeños and it was still great. I added a bit of vinegar and sugar with regular jalapeño and it worked just fine. Thanks for this one.

  24. Holy cow these are incredible!! My husband is a vegetarian so I used rotisserie chicken for mine with a gluten free tortilla and vegetarian “chicken” strips with a regular tortilla for him. They were SO good and I immediately messaged several people telling them to make them! My husband said they were “wicked good!” Definitely adding these to the rotation.

    1. Hey Hayley,

  25. W😋W! These were delicious tonight! I used low carb tortillas and made the sauce and ranch as well. Any herb or homemade sauce you put in your recipes always takes it to another level! 1. Hey Sheila,

  27. Love this recipe! I used a little less onion & garlic powder and left out the green onion since we are not a fan of green onion or garlic since I had Covid 😢 But it turned out great. Loved the homemade ranch and Buffalo sauce . Garnished it with some sliced avocado and a little pico.

I modified this to be more daughter in graduate school friendly. Bottled ranch dressing. Mixed chicken with yogurt, dill, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, green onions, hot sauce to taste. After frying , put in the oven for 20 minutes at 200. Served with sour cream, hot sauce, ranch. Very popular! Thanks.

    1. Hey there,
Fantastic! Thanks a lot for making this recipe, I love to hear that it was enjoyed! Happy New Year!🎆 xxT

  29. ok i am not a person who leaves comments here (i’m a lurker) but holy cheeses. these are delicious! the first time i made them i only had corn tortillas – it worked but it was very messy! this time around, i used the flour tortillas as called for and they def hold better. both are delicious though! so if you only have corn tortillas – take the leap and make them anyway!

My husband and I are loving all the recipes we’ve tried! Thank you!

This ingenious recipe is my husband’s new favorite! So easy and so flavorful. Although we’ve tried other variations (turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and cheese), this remains the favorite! They reheat well too!

These were really really good and even easier than I thought they would be to assemble! I wasn’t sure I was going to like the jalapeno ranch in there and I loooved it. So tasty

  38. 4 stars
This was delicious and very filling! I loved using greek yogurt as the base for the dressing. However, all I could taste was the tartness of the greek yogurt. No other flavors that were mixed in came through. Any suggestions?

    1. Hey Elizabeth,
Thanks for giving the recipe a try, maybe try sour cream next time or increase your seasonings. I hope this helps! xTieghan

I would just skip the smoked paprika in the buffalo sauce and it should be okay! I hope you love the recipe and happy birthday to your sister! xTieghan

These are AMAZING and so easy to make. I buy a pre cooked chicken from the store and shred it and it makes it super quick and easy. My husband really liked them and asked for me to make them again a week later. Thank you so much for the recipe! We left the greens out and it tasted fine without!

    1. Hey Dylan,
Just use enough to cover 1/4 of the wrap. I hope you enjoy the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions. xTieghan

Loved how easy this recipe was to follow! I especially loved the ranch- super easy and delicious. We simplified things by using a rotisserie chicken and throwing in a bag of Buffalo sauce. I liked being able to make all the fillings and then build/cook the wrap when it was time to eat!

  47. 4 stars
The instructions were easy to follow and the pictures were helpful. This recipe overall was easy and flavorful. To speed up the prep process I used a rotisserie chicken and thought it was tasty!

  48. 5 stars
Wow! This recipe is absolutely perfect. Super simple, super easy but seriously tastes like I’m eating from a restaurant. The perfect “healthy” comfort food! Made it tonight for dinner and it is absolutely delicious and felt like I whipped it together in no time. I cook for just me, myself and I so I prepped the chicken and ingredients separately and will assemble/cook when I’m ready to eat, making it a super easy work from home meal.. (I also skipped the jalapenos because I’m a pretty big wuss on the spice scale – but this still delivered plenty of flavor!)

Gotta love a good tictoc inspiration! These crispy buffalo chicken wraps were outta sight!! They’re the perfect balance of creamy, cheesy, crunchy and spicy, and both these sauces are so good. This definitely satisfied the quesadilla lover in the house and my love for buff chicken anything. We devoured every bite and will definitely be putting these into rotation. Thank you for another amazing recipe, Tieghan!! You rock!

    1. Hey Jessica,
Thanks so much for making this recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have great week:) xTieghan

  50. Made these tonight. DELICIOUS! The note with the homemade buffalo sauce seems to be missing a unit of measurement on the hot sauce. I’m guessing it is supposed to say 1/2 a cup based on looking at other buffalo sauce notes on other recipes from your website.

    1. Hey Stephanie,
I am delighted that this recipe was enjoyed, thanks a lot for trying it out! Sorry for the confusion, yes it is 1/2 cup. Happy Friday! xTieghan

This recipe was amazing!! Husband gave it a 10 out of 10!!! I was thinking of using the rest of my roast chicken for a salad but… on second thought I’ll be using it to make this recipe again tomorrow!! Even with whole wheat tortillas this was just amazing. So so good!! Thank you for sharing!

Such a delicious meal! Made this with 2 friends and we enjoyed. One thing to note, there were a few inconsistencies/missing details in the recipe. We referred to your instagram stories for clarification!!

    1. Hey Riz,
Thanks so much! I just roast my chicken in the oven, but you could totally use a rotisserie chicken too. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  53. I made these for dinner tonight with the homemade Buffalo sauce and homemade ranch. They were so good. I have 5 kids and I had two extra kids over for dinner and everyone ate them. That’s a win win!!! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. I also made the Taco Bell crunch wraps last week and they were a big hit too.

Made these on a whim tonight… DELISH! And that ranch is SO GOOD. I’m just sitting here picturing all the other stuff I’m gonna put that ranch on.

  55. Hi Tieghan! Love your blog and instagram – have become a huge HBHer over the past few months 🙂 Do you think kale would work in these?

    1. Hey Sari,
Thanks so much for your kind message! Yes, I think kale would work! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions:) xTieghan

This recipe is everything! Incorporating the homemade ranch and buffalo sauce makes all the difference! These folded wraps are so delicious; I will definitely be making them again!

I do have a question about the homemade buffalo sauce. How should I store it? Should it be kept in the refrigerator? Thank you in advance!

    1. Hey Jiki,
I so appreciate you giving the recipe a try, I am thrilled it was enjoyed! Yes, I would keep the buffalo sauce in the fridge. xTieghan

  58. 5 stars
i love this recipe but just noticed that under the instructions for the buffalo sauce it says 1/2 hot sauce. is that 1/2 cup?

    1. Hey Suzanne,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Yes, that is correct. Thanks! xTieghan

    1. Hey Rene,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try, I am thrilled that it was enjoyed! Happy Valentine’s Day❤️ xTieghan

Very very good. Love the jalapeño ranch sauce! Plan to use this on many things, even just to dip raw veggies in. We found it worked better by not overstuffing the tortilla. Will make this on the regular! Thank you for this recipe.

    1. Hey Nicole,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try, I am thrilled that it was enjoyed! Happy Valentine’s Day❤️ xTieghan

    1. Hey there,
I am so glad that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for making it! Have a great weekend:) xTieghan

  60. OMG! Made these tonight and we devoured them 🙂 So delicious. I followed recipe as written (except I used jarred Jalapeño Ranch dressing) Great recipe – if you like buffalo chicken anything then these are for you.

  61. When we made the Crunch Wrap Supreme recipe, my folding was, um, less than perfect and stumbled on the idea of cooking it folded side down first, as you mention below for this it helps seal it. We still had a couple of gaps but hardly anything falling out. This has an open side so a little different but will be looking to seal it with the cooking as much as possible.

    1. Hey Lisa,
Thanks so much for trying the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! I would cook on medium heat. Have a great weekend:) xTieghan

These were so easy to make and tasted incredible! My husband ate two and wanted another to take to work for lunch tomorrow. These will definitely be in rotation at our house. I used a rotisserie chicken to make this already super simple recipe that much easier.

  63. 5 stars
Not only was this recipe super delicious, it was extremely easy to make! I am obsessed!! This is now a staple in our meal rotation!

  64. 5 stars
I made these tonight and they were delicious! The homemade ranch is yummy, and everything was quick and easy to put together. Will definitely be making again! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

  65. 5 stars
These are delicious! My only problem was that much of the filling fell out when I flipped the wraps in the skillet. How do you keep everything together?

    1. Hey Julie,
I am thrilled this recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! I put the open side down first so the heat seals it baking it super easy when flipping. xTieghan

  66. 5 stars
I just made this & it was delicious! Your picture looks a lot more crunchy than mine:) I assume I didn’t fry them long enough? But the taste was amazing. Would the tortillas be soggy if you make them ahead of time? Also do you think you might be able to bake them instead of frying?
    The recipe was delicious!
Thank you for all the pictures too!

    1. Hey there,
I am thrilled this recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! If you want to make ahead of time just reheat them in the oven:) xTieghan

  67. 5 stars
Made this today and it is so easy! Also my Buffalo-chicken- loving husband said it is “the best thing I’ve ever made him.” I’ve been cooking for him for 7 years! Thank you so much for sharing this!

    1. Hey Tatum,
Thanks a lot for giving the recipe a go, I am so delighted that it was enjoyed! Have a great week:) xTieghan

  68. We make baked buffalo wings all the time, the wrap seems like the next level. Will be trying soon since we have tortillas left from the crunch wrap. Question: it looks like the cuts on the tortilla keep the 4 pieces connected at the center, is that right? They’re not cut into 4 totally separate pieces? Thanks for another fun take.

    1. Hey Deb,
Yes, that is correct! I have a video saved to IG highlights if you need more of a visual:) I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  69. your buffalo sauce says 1/2 hot sauce. I am assuming you mean 1/2 c. I am planning to use it for your crispy buffalo chicken salad recipe.

    1. Hey Cathy,
Sorry for the confusion, yes you want to use 1/2 cup of hot sauce. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

Just made this and it was a huge hit. Only issue was that I bought organic corn tortillas that had no oil in them so they were impossible to fold over without breaking apart. Had to improv and just put all the fillings between two tortillas. Worked out well but still had a little trouble getting them crispy enough. I really liked all of the flavors going on. That homemade buffalo sauce recipe of yours is really damn good. Will be making these again – but might have to do homemade tortillas next time. Thanks for the recipe.

Sadly, I’m so disappointed in this recipe. I follow this page on Instagram and was so excited to make these. They look amazing in her video. This recipe is not what she made in that video. The amount of herbs in this recipe is insanely high. I think she meant to do tsp, even 1/2 tsp, instead of tbsp. My chicken turned out SO herby it was mostly green and I couldn’t even taste the buffalo. It tastes like I just had some herb dip.

    1. Hey there,
So sorry you did not enjoy the recipe, all of the ingredients in the video are the ingredients that are posted here as well. Let me know how I can help! xTieghan

  72. I had the same question as Jenn from 1/14. There are no measurements for onion or garlic powder listed n the main ingredients, but on step one, it says to combine onion and garlic powder with chicken. Then, those ingredients are listed uinder the jalapeno ranch part, but since step 2 says to combine all the ranch ingredients in a bowl, I thought the onion and garlic powders listed there were part of the ranch, not the chicken. Could you please clarify!

    1. Hey Holly,
Sorry for the confusion, but the recipe has been updated since Jenn’s comment, step 1 no longer calls for onion and garlic powder. Please read over the recipe again and let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

These were soooo delicious! My husband couldn’t believe the sauce was mostly yogurt. I will definitely be making again. So easy and so flavorful! Perfect for a weeknight. Thank you!

  74. 5 stars
Oh my goodness- we made these for dinner last night and they were AMAZING! The whole thing is great, but that ranch is insane!! I’ve never made it from scratch before, and couldn’t believe that those ingredients put together tasted just like ranch (but better!)!! Definitely adding these to the rotation!

  75. Hi!:) thank you for this beautiful recipe!:)
One question: what measurement for the hot sauce in the home made bufalo recipe? Half a packet? Half a cup? Half a tsp? 🙂 -TR🌸

  76. 5 stars
Super tasty! I particularly loved the homemade Buffalo sauce it added so much flavor to the shredded chicken. This recipe was easy peasy to follow and a fun take on the folded wrap trend! I swapped avocado in for the cheese quadrant and it was just as tasty. If only I could get my siete tortillas to stay as in tact as Tieghan does! Still perfecting that.

  77. 5 stars
I love this recipe! Except – is it really half cup of hot sauce for the buffalo sauce? I love spicy food but this was very SPICY! Maybe my hot sauce is extremely spicy but I feel like something felt wrong! Thanks fir the delicious recipes!

    1. Hey there,
I am so thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for trying it out!! Yes, the measurements are correct. xTieghan

  78. 3 stars
This is good, but I’m giving it 3/5 because one simple tweak can improve it quite a bit. Reverse the placement of the chicken and ranch. That way the chicken layer and the cheese layers are on the outside of the wrap and get the most heat. The lettuce and ranch stay on the inside and you can melt the cheese and heat the chicken without completely wilting the lettuce.

  79. 5 stars
Made these last night and the family loved them! The jalapeño ranch is dreamy. I want to put it on everything!!

    1. Hey Andrea,
You could use a store bought rotisserie chicken and shred that, or you could simply bake chicken and shred that. I hope you love the recipe. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

    1. Hey Megan,
I am so glad this recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! I would say the ranch in good for a couple weeks. Have the best week. xTieghan

Made these tonight and they were a huge hit!! Definitely going to make these again! Great for a football crowd instead of making a dip!

Made these last night with a few changes. They were good. Would definitely make them again. My husband wasn’t a fan of the “hot wilty lettuce” but I thought it was delicious!

These were great! My husband devoured them! Will definitely be adding these in regularly. Great for a football Sunday!

    Hi Tieghan,

My family loved these wraps. So delicious. This is going in the rotation for sure. Thank you!

I also have to tell you I grew up in Rocky River and went to high school with your Mom. She graduated in my brother Brian’s class. She was always super nice to everyone. I can see from your videos that you have her mannerisms! I am so happy you are doing well!

    Best,

    Jennifer

    1. Hey Jennifer,
I am thrilled you liked the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a go! Such a small world! Happy Sunday:) xTieghan

Made this for my kids and they raved about it! I used store bought spicy ranch and added sour cream to some hot salsa to use in place of the homemade sauces. This all came together in 10 minutes. So delicious!

  86. These sound yummy. Can’t wait to try them! For the Buffalo sauce, should it say 1/2 *cup hot sauce? Also, I’m trying to imagine folding up the bottom left corner without the chicken falling everywhere! Is that a problem? Looking forward to making a meal I know my whole family will love. Thanks!

    1. Hey Jacki,
The recipe calls for 1/3 cup of buffalo sauce and then for folding, just be careful, but it should be totally fine. I hope you enjoy the recipe. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

These were great! My husband was craving a good old buffalo chicken wrap and these hit the spot. Easy, weeknight meal too. Will be making again for sure!

  88. 5 stars
Another awesome recipe! Everyone loved it and the homemade buffalo sauce was so so good! I think the possibilities are endless with this method of wrapping 🙂 I’m thinking breakfast!

  89. Hello, I am probably just being stupid, but i cant seem to understand how to cut the tortilla. Im making this tonight for a dinner party, can you explain?

    1. Hey Kyle,
So you are just going to cut the tortilla in half, but not all the way through, so only half up the tortilla. I have a video saved on my IG highlights if you want to check that out! I hope you love the recipe:) xTieghan

1000000/10. We made these last night for dinner and although I personally am wimpy when it comes to spice, my boyfriend loves it. We both ended up loving this meal and will DEFINITELY be making it again! It was so easy to put together and the flavors are awesome.

  91. 5 stars
This is a new favorite! I can’t believe how easy and incredible these are. Bonus points for my picky ass husband loving them too!

Also to everyone not vibing with warm lettuce – just try it. You won’t hate it. More points of some pops out and gets grilled and you shove it back in. Trust me on the grilled romaine.

  92. These were soooooo good!!!! My husband had thirds!!!!!! The only thing I changed was “no jalapeños” and I used more chicken (3 cups rather than one, or 2 boneless chicken breasts). It all had a good spicy kick but not too spicy. Those who wanted theirs spicier just added more Buffalo sauce to theirs. Anyways, thank you for a hit recipe.

I wish I could give this 6 stars.
The jalapeno ranch has become a staple at our house after we made tacos for Christmas.
I made this for lunch on Sunday – promptly meal prepped more for the rest of the week. So so delicious – I was sad when I used up all our ingredients today. We subbed spinach and some pickled onions in for the lettuce and it was fantastic. Thanks for a great recipe.

    1. Hey Hannah,
There are 224 calories. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  94. 5 stars
WOW! These are truly fantastic. There is SO much flavor, and you would never know there is no sour cream. I used fresh chives and dill, and I think there was even more flavor that way as well. My only complaint is that I stuffed them too full which made a mess when trying to pan fry them lol. Otherwise – these are SO good! A staple for sure.

  95. 5 stars
I made this vegetarian by swapping the chicken with roasted cauliflower and it was so so good. My partner said it was her favourite dinner we’ve had in a long time. Definitely gonna be a repeat in our house!

  96. 5 stars
I made this as is, and it was PHENOMENAL. Wouldn’t change a thing, and this will definitely become a staple in our house! It took a little bit more time to prep than the 15 minutes, but that was also with me making the Buffalo sauce too.

  97. What’s the easiest way you recommend to cook and shred chicken breasts? I have done it in the crockpot with chicken broth but then the chicken ends up really wet and makes the tortilla soggy…and I don’t love rotisserie chicken shredded. Looking for ideas 🙂 Thanks!

    1. Hey Mandy,
You can use a rotisserie chicken and shred that, I also just baked in the oven or sear on the stove top! I hope this helps! xTieghan

  98. 3 stars
I found the 1 tablespoon of dried parsley too much. I will definitely try it again with a modified buffalo chicken recipe!

  99. 5 stars
This was so delicious! I modified the recipe a bit, using bleu cheese instead of ranch (I’m a bleu cheese with buffalo chicken girl all the way) and it was perfect! Crispy, spicy, cheesy… definitely a new lunch or quick dinner favorite!

    1. Hey Jamie,
Thanks so much for trying out this recipe, I am thrilled that you liked it! I hope you have a great week:) xTieghan

  100. Made this tonight and it was incredible! Didn’t have the dill on hand, so just omitted that one ingredient. So tasty, my husband and I both licked our plates clean.

    1. Hey Cristina,
Thanks so much for trying out this recipe, I am thrilled that you liked it! I hope you have a great week:) xTieghan

I made these and they were absolutely delicious! I can’t get the cutting/folding down because ingredients squeeze and fall out, but they’re yummy anyway. Love this one!

    1. Hey Meredith,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a go, I am thrilled that it was enjoyed! Have a great week:) xTieghan

  102. Hi Tieghan ,

Thanks for another great recipe. My cilantro lime sauce came out too thin. Is there a way to fix this ?

  103. Just made these. Super delicious and a great blend of flavors! I doubled the Buffalo sauce and it did well with 4 lbs of chicken. The ranch is so delicious!! And I love these Siete tortillas, love the crunch. I made with spinach instead of romaine.

  104. 5 stars
My husband was in awe of this recipe! He loved it! I made one change and used blue cheese dressing instead of ranch. It came together without a hitch and was so easy to eat!

  105. 5 stars
I made these just now! We ate them up! Rave reviews!
Your teaching me to be creative, I made with chili lime french fries. Frozen fries ,good shakes of chili powder, lime zest ,squeezed lime quartered and threw them in to. Drizzled olive oil. Baked.
Kinda like a take on burger and fries lol.
Thank you for another great recipe.

  106. Hello! Going to make these tonight :). I do not have pickled jalapeños, I only have fresh. Do you think the recipe would still work or should I just do a ranch instead?

    1. Hey Maegan,
It really just depends how much heat you like, the fresh jalapeños will have much more spice than the pickled jalapeños! I hope you love the recipe:) xTieghan

  107. 5 stars
Just made these- I’m not the biggest Buffalo sauce person but these were amazing! Thank you for incorporating Greek yogurt as opposed to cream cheese! Love your recipes thanks for all the hard work and for sharing.

  108. 5 stars
Holy cow… made this for a fun lunch for our day off and it completely blew my socks off! So easy and actually FUN to make. But the flavors and texture made this so delicious!!!

  109. 5 stars
These were very good. We added a little bit of blue cheese with the ceddar. This way it was a bit more authentic for Buffalo chicken.

  110. Hey!
Quick, stupid question- how do you cook and shred the chicken? I’m new to cooking meat so I’m a little lost on this step!

    1. Hey Elena,
You can buy a rotisserie chicken and shred that, you can grill some chicken and shred that, you can bake in the oven…whatever is easiest for you! I hope you love the recipe:) xTieghan

  111. 5 stars
I made these last night and woah they are good. The Buffalo sauce is not too spicy and the jalapeño ranch was delicious! It’s not too sauce despite all the amazing sauces going on. I actually started eating the jalapeño ranch sauce with chips on the side. You must make this awesome and amazing recipe!

  112. I will give it a shot! I am going to practice with a breakfast version. Scrambled eggs, green-chili retried beans, mashed avocado and cheese…
    Thanks for the inspiration! ☺️

  113. 4 stars
Made these for my husband and I tonight! We only had 2 tortillas left so I halved the recipe. Went well but lots of leftover cilantro ranch (not complaining cuz it’s delicious) but I think the amounts for the serving size are a little off. For everyone wondering about the Buffalo sauce, she literally gives a recipe for it at the end of the recipe (and states that as well lol) The only changes I made, were using valentinas hot sauce instead of Frank’s because we don’t buy franks 🙂 and using fresh dill and parsley in the chicken which I think is far better than dried. all in all so delicious thank you!

    1. Hey Katrina,
I am so glad that the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for making it! Have a great week:) xTieghan

  114. 5 stars
Made these tonight, exactly as the recipe. SO good. Note that this makes a lot of extra Buffalo sauce (I used the recipe in the notes section) and ranch sauce.

    1. Hey Erika,
I am so glad that the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for making it! Have a great week:) xTieghan

    1. Hey Madison,
I am so glad that the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for making it! Have a great week:) xTieghan

  116. Hey Tieghan!
I am going to make this, but I am running into a question I always mean to ask you. When you say “1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped”, do you mean finely chop 1/2 cup of whole cilantro, or finely chop cilantro up to 1/2 cup?

    Thanks!!

  117. 5 stars
Thank you for another great recipe! As my kids watched me prepare they were questioning every ingredient . I told them to trust me and that YOU have never done me wrong! The creaminess, the cheese, the bursting flavors. And I was so proud to say all the sauces were healthy and made by me!! The whole family loved them and I can’t wait to make this recipe again.

    1. Hey Kelly,
I am so glad that the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for making it! Have a great week:) xTieghan

We made these on Friday and they were delicious! I made Buffalo sauce by combining franks hot sauce and butter. It was a bit spicy but really good. I think the calorie count is way low but hey, you only live once!

    1. Hey Joanne,
I am thrilled that you liked the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a go! Have an awesome week:) xTieghan

Such a fun meal and was so easy to make! I loved the buffalo/yogurt sauce with the chicken-not something I would ever think to combine myself but it turned out so tasty!

Yum!!! SO glad I made these they turned out great – as did your recipe for the buffalo sauce! Can’t wait to make them again:) Also… the best way to fold tortillas!;)

  122. 5 stars
Wow, dangerously good! I added a little blue cheese which added even more flavour. Your recipes never disappoint!! Will be making this one again for sure.

    1. Hey Stephanie,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Happy Sunday! xTieghan

These were terrific! My son made the Buffalo sauce, my daughter made the ranch sauce and they both folded and fried them. Great dinner! Thank you.

  124. 5 stars
Super easy and delicious! This is my 3rd recipe I have tried from you and all of them are amazing. I really loved how this one was quick and simple, used my instant pot to make shredded chicken then just assemble and bam all done 😍

  125. We made this tonight and it was so good!! We substituted chopped celery and green onions for the lettuce. The whole family loved it. Thanks for another great recipe.

  126. 5 stars
Delicious, but we made some modifications to the recipe. For the chicken mixture, you could cut back on the amount of Frank’s red hot or add a little butter to it. Additionally, we cut the amount of herbs in half. The amount of dried herbs called for would have given this Buffalo chicken recipe an overwhelming herb flavor (something we experienced with the Buffalo chicken egg roll recipe). I love herbs, but the amount called for seems more appropriate for fresh herbs than dried.
Also, we added some parsley & chives to the ranch dressing to make it a little more ranch like. We cut also cut down the amount of dressing by half.

Overall this was an amazing recipe & we will be making this again!

  127. 5 stars
Oh my gosh, my family LOVED these!! It’s been an HBH week around here. This was our third dinner this week with your recipes! We will definitely be making these again. Thank you!!

  128. 5 stars
This recipe is so good! I’m in the UK so this was my first time making ranch – delish! Any veggies out there, I highly recommend using oyster mushrooms as a chicken substitute in this recipe. Just pull apart the caps, slice up the stems, marinate and bake!

  129. 5 stars
Quite a bit of prep work (I made both the jalapeño ranch and Buffalo sauce from scratch) but definitely worth it. A fun weekend lunch to change things up. My husband and I loved it! Made the Crunchwrap this week too and can’t decide which one we like more. Really into this grilled wrap/tortilla goodness lately!

  130. These were fantastic and the heat level was perfect! I was concerned about having a bunch of wilted romaine – not the case at all. Lots of nice crunch.

  131. 5 stars
These were soo delicious! I love that you subbed out cream cheese for the yogurt so they are on the lighter side! Will be making these again very soon!

  132. Making these tonight fo the Bill’s playoff game. As a true western New Yorker, I will use blue cheese dressing and sneak some celery in there.

  133. 5 stars
This looks so amazing and I will be making it for dinner tonight! Just a quick clarification on the buffalo sauce you made: does it require both butter and olive oil? I could have sworn you said to use either/or in the IG story you shared! Thanks for your incredible recipes!

    1. Hey Amanda,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

  134. So I made these and they were very good. I used BBQ sauce rather than a true Buffalo sauce. I used the almond flour seite tortillas which were great. I used a bit too much olive oil to fry though. I wasn’t sure about the garlic and onion powder since the list for the jalapeño sauce had it listed with it but in directions it had it going in the chicken mixture. I choose to put in jalapeño sauce.

    1. Hey Judy,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

  135. 5 stars
These were SO GOOD! I used the siete foods tortillas though and they completely fell apart. I had just taken them out of the fridge. For next time should I heat up the tortillas first? Or maybe I just overstuffed them? I could drink this dressing too it is amazing.

    1. Hey Katy,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! So sorry you had issues with the shells, warming them a bit does help! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

  136. 4 stars
Great easy recipe! I used rotisserie chicken and have some left over for later in the week. I think next time I will reduce the dill as I thought it was a little overpowering, but overall we loved it. We especially like the ranch and have plenty to use on other dishes this week!

    1. Hey Geneviev,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

  137. I just finished making and eating this for lunch! WOW – so easy and SO delicious! Looking forward to making this one for family and friends. I know it’ll be a big hit!

    1. Hey Rachael,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

    1. Hey Karyn,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

    1. Hey Amy,
Yes, parsley would work well! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

Delish – came together really fast (though, we cheated by using good quality store bought blue cheese dressing in place of the homemade ranch). A winner to add to the rotation!

    1. Hey Suzie,
I am thrilled that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks for making it! I hope you have an awesome weekend:) xTieghan

  139. These look amazing. I just received both your cookbooks this week and made your hummus Alfredo with roasted cayenne spiced broccoli- it was amazing. The whole family loved the broccoli the most. Yum.

You should definitely put that wrap on tik tok. It’s really easy and fun. My dog (phoebethetinychihuahua) is on there and she has two million views after just a couple weeks! I really like the platform. You will grow your following for sure!

Love your recipes. You are the best of the best at creating new takes on old favorites. Thanks for doing what you do!

  140. Hey Tieghan,

It looks like this recipe is slightly messed up either in the ingredients or step one. You have the garlic powder and onion powder listed under the ranch, but you have those two added in with the chicken in the first step? Just some clarification would be helpful.

    1. Hey Owen,
So sorry the recipe has been adjusted, there is no onion or garlic powder in the chicken. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

My boyfriend and I made your recipe for supper and it was DELICIOUS! We loved how it turned out! Thank you for the recipe xx

  143. OK just read this and my mouth is watering. As a vegetarian, I’ll be subbing Tofu for chicken. The flavours are ones that my fam loves.

    Thanks so much for sharing.

  144. Hi!! I think the onion powder and garlic powder measurements to go with the chicken are missing from the top part! 🙂

    1. Hey Jenn,
All of the measurements are correct:) I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  145. These look so delicious, I can’t wait to try them. I would love to see your take on a breakfast version of these!

  146. Genius idea….. This can work for so many combos… even a crunchy folded taco. HAven’t made this yet, but will be … very very soon.

  147. I have to say, I’m a little bit obsessed with these right now. Saw them online and think the idea is fantastic! So many ways to do them. Will definitely be trying this version soon!

  148. Do you think roasted cauliflower or tofu would be a better substitute for the chicken in this recipe if you were to choose? If you were to choose tofu, which level of firmness would you choose? I am so impressed by your creativity, skill level and maturity for running HBH. Thank you for all you do to show love, kindness and grace in this world. Keep it coming!

    1. Hey Marla,
I think both would be awesome! I hope you love the recipe, let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

  149. Ooooh. I was thinking about trying the cruch wrap recipe you posted, but I might go for this one instead. Both look amazing, but this one looks a little less time intensive. Which I need right now haha. Can’t wait to try!

  150. Do you think these could be made ahead, frozen, and reheated when ready to eat? Not sure the greens and ranch would hold up!

    1. Hey Amy,
I haven’t tested this, like you said I don’t think the greens would hold up all that well! I hope you love the recipe! xTieghan

I made your crunch wraps last week (swapping out the meat for tofu) and they were such a hit. Definitely making these using beans and salsa instead of meat and buffalo sauce, though tofu would work, too. Thank you!

  152. These look amazing and definitely a recipe that I have pinned for the upcoming weekend. Thank you so much for all your inspiring recipes, just love them.

  153. This looks and sounds delicious. I’m making for lunch!!! Can’t wait for the buffalo chicken pizza recipe in the Christmas pics. Hint Hint. LOL. Thanks for all the great recipes you share!

    1. Hey Erin,
The lettuce gets a little soft, but still super delicious! I hope you love the recipe, let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan

I love how you folded this quesadilla/wrap. I did it with buffalo tofu too as well as your recipe with chicken. I love the crunch of the celery and scallions but after trying romaine liked it better without hot, wilted romaine. But will do this wrap again and maybe try refried beans in place of chicken for a veggie variety. Thank you Tieghan for all your work putting together a great website and amazing recipes!! I talk you up to friends and relatives, suggesting they add you to their inbox.

  155. Yes!!! This is exactly the sort of easy everyday delicious recipes I love to read about and make 🙂

  156. Those wraps looks really awesome and I’m definitely going the make them. Unfortunately Buffalo sauce is not easy obtainable in The Netherlands, so I will have to make it myself. Can you recommend me a recipe for this sauce? I couldn’t find one on your website 😉

    1. Hey Saskia,
Here is a recipe that I love:
      BUFFALO SAUCE
      4 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
½ cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
      3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
      1 pinch black pepper
Let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
