Because boy do I have one boozy, chocolatey martini for you! And just in time for New years……what a coincidence………Not! This chocolate drink is one of Mrs. Mooney’s creations. She made it years ago for my mom (the ultimate chocoholic, but also the biggest light weight!) on New Year Eve.
With four different liquors, two of them chocolate liquors, one vanilla and one coffee, there is nothing not to like about this martini! And trust me you will want to marry this drink after your first sip.
The ultimate chocolate martini.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces dark chocolate liquor (I used Godiva)
- 1 1/2 ounces white chocolate liquor (I used Godiva)
- 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce bailey's liquor
- 1 ounce half & half
- 1/8 cup chocolate chips, melted
- 1/8 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
- chocolate syrup, for drizzling
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate chips on a small rimed plate. Dip the martini glass in the chocolate and then into the chocolate cookie crumbs.
- Drizzle the inside of the glass with chocolate sauce.
- Fill a shaker with ice and add the dark chocolate liquor, white chocolate liquor, vanilla vodka, bailey's liquor and half & half. Shake for 15 seconds. Strain into pre-paired martini glass.
Um…..I think you need to stop reading (and drooling) and get to the liquor store.
